lol..I am not going anywhere with me at the wheel on this issue. Take all the time you need. Thanks for any assistance you can give.

It would seem this notebook is fairly new in design and you are certainly correct that there is very little info. I am very suprised Asus doen't have specs. This Notebook is a fantom. Leave that it up to me and I can pick a fantom out of 5 good choices.

After installing the ring mod it failed to work when I put the ring on.

After assigning the ring to a hot key (1) it did work. Which is a very pleasing event.

This is not to say that if someone finds a solution without having to use OBSE, that that solution will not be utilized. I like the least amount of extras as possible.
