What kind of animals live in Elsweyr, anyhow?

I didn't see a thread for this anywhere so I went for it.

that's fine, new discussions are always good. Thus far upekkha and myself have found Giant scorpians, Rock Golems, possibly the other Golems, wraiths, and bandits.

Venomous Snakes? Hyenas (probably spelt wrong)? How about some more original creatures like we've seen in Morrowind?

well, everything I just listed was in arena. Not the best scource of lore, but it's all we have.

Well, I say we invent some creatures. Maybe a mummy with red glowing eyes, called a sand pharoh or something like that. There could also be giant sand worms that pop out of the ground and try to kill you, and maybe some giant vultures too, but again with the red glowing eyes... What else...

Upekkha wanted sand worms too, I afraid it isn't possible though, the ground is a solid mesh, we have no skeleton for it, we have no ai for it, we can't even make it think it's swiming......or can we?

We could try some stuff, it can be underneath the ground until the player is in proximity and then out of the ground... and a lot of rocks to cover the place it came out of. Of course, this could probably only be done once for each worm, but it's something.
