Drmccoy and his absence
Hey folks,

it's me, the doc. You might have wondered where I have been the past few weeks. Well, to make a long story short, I have been in a terrible car crash on my way to work (which for Christ's Sake I didn't cause). Two people died, among the a young child. I was sent straight to the Emergency Room. I had multiple injuries, inner bleedings and a few bones broken. I was on the Emergeny for a few days, but I don't remember any of it. After that, I was postponed for a operation concerning my bones and spent the last 2 Weeks in the hospital with no internet connection what so ever. Tried to get it work a few times, but always failed. I didn't see myself up for the test anyway.

I'm back home since yesterday. And ever since then my life changed alot. Seems quite strange to be back home again. Well, I just wanted to let you guys now what happened and that you might see me more frequently from now on. I also hope you'll understand that I won't be sitting on my computer all day to mod for our project, there's been a lot of stuff stacking up that needs to be catched up ...and after all, I'm a little off-track for that at the moment.

I'm not saying that I want to quit by that. I just wanted to tell you where I am at the moment, that I'll be back, just give me some time. It might take a few days or a few weeks. Well, I don't really know how to put this right now.
My arm is broken, it took me like 20 minutes to type the text up to here xD
It's just a bit weird sitting at the computer at the moment. I hope not to disappoint you even more than I did already and am looking forward to fucking completing this bitch of a project already >:C

Cheers to all of you and thank you for your input and all of your work that you have done and might do in the future for this project!

The doc

I honestly don't know what to say to that, except to wish you a speedy recovery. I can't imagine what you must have gone through. Don't worry about the project, we'll keep it ticking over in your absence. In the last week morcroft managed to make a new set of book covers, and windsurfer has finished the last dungeons. Just take it easy!

Sh** man! Hell of a thing. You have my sympathy and best wishes. Get well: body and mind. Hope to see you around: understand if you're not.

All the very best

Mate sorry to hear about it. Couldn't even imagine what its like being in that sictuation. The is no rush or even requirement to help. Its something that we all enjoy doing when we have the time. Its a very small part of our life which has no real importance apart from the sense of achievement and the learning involved. I wish you a speedy recovery and best of luck mate. Tom

Doc, I was really amazed by what I was reading up there. As a self-accident specialist, I know what the emergency looks like, just as I know the after effects - even though it was only a cycle accident (a good hard one, as far as I remember, and quite funny given the circumstances, now that I re-memorize... ).

Really sorry I am for this. Given the way people use to drive nowadays (especially in the area where I live, where roads are most of the time awful), I can consider myself extremely lucky... That's why I prefer the horse, as a locomotive way ! I wish you completely recover from the accident but, alas, this rarely happen at 100 per cent - people still keep injuries (which, I have to admit, paradoxically contributes sometimes to harden them).

Nothing more to add. I haven't touch Oblivion since I found a new job (which isn't really what I was expecting, so I pray to God to quit as soon as possible). I would very much appreciate taking a break on the warm sand, even virtually. But I don't even have a 56k internet connection at the location my employers have provided me, which is quite a shame in this high-tech era. Pfff... let's keep believing in miracles !
