I have a strange problem: The Cs gives a list of errors and then 'destroys' my worldspace cells.

Cell (010D0760) VeranisHall1 already exists at coord (53, -89 ).
Error adding cell (020023F6) to world space (01085716). Cell will be destroyed.
Cell (010D0762) Wilderness already exists at coord (54, -89 ).
Error adding cell (020023F8) to world space (01085716). Cell will be destroyed.
Cell (010D0754) Wilderness already exists at coord (55, -90 ).
Error adding cell (02002410) to world space (01085716). Cell will be destroyed.
Cell (010D0764) Wilderness already exists at coord (55, -89 ).
Error adding cell (02002412) to world space (01085716). Cell will be destroyed.
Cell (010D0770) Wilderness already exists at coord (53, -88 ).
Error adding cell (020023EC) to world space (01085716). Cell will be destroyed.
Cell (010D0772) Wilderness already exists at coord (54, -88 ).
Error adding cell (020023EE) to world space (01085716). Cell will be destroyed.
Cell (010D0774) Wilderness already exists at coord (55, -88 ).
Error adding cell (02002414) to world space (01085716). Cell will be destroyed.
Cell (010D0944) Wilderness already exists at coord (56, -89 ).
Error adding cell (0200243F) to world space (01085716). Cell will be destroyed.

The file is corrupted.

If I load (latest esm) the file from the previous post there are no errors.

EDIT
Which version of the esm did you use to create the current version of the esp?
As SACarrow said it would be handy to attach the esp file.

blackbird: If you post a copy of the corrupt plugin, I'll Gecko it to see if the "diseased" portions can be removed.

Here's the latest file. I hope I don't lose my work, although it's not very much.

I fired up the ESP using Gecko and I found 2 WLRD groups under the StLand worldspace. I deleted the group where the ID did not match the StLand form ID. It came up fine in the CS after that, but since I have no idea how that could happen in the 1st place, I have no idea which group of cells was actually edited. If it's the other group, I can do some hex magic and post that one as well.

I agree with SACarrow that you have to delete the group in mod index 2.
As an esm manager I'll delete the second (MI 2)group for these type of errors --> loss of work.

I have seen these errors around five times before and these files had a lot of data in the wrong group, so I just deleted the second group.

In this case SACarrow is willing to fix the file which is great.

@blackbird
Could you describe what you exactly did?
Which esm, which esp was loaded etc.?

It would be nice to reproduce this error to avoid it in the future.

I tried several methods but couldn't reproduce the error.

What puzzles me is the fact that the WS child group has been shifted to mod index 02.

A CS glitch?
I have done quite a bit of landscaping but never had such a problem so I doubt it.

I created a worldspace with the name STBDVeranisHall. Going to that cell was hard, becauseyou start a t 0,0.
When I arrived, I renamed some of the cells in Veranis Hall to veranis hall. But it gives an error when i'm trying to give 2 cells the same name.

Editor ID's have to be unique.

Now I understand why there is a second child group.

Did you edit the file (because the child WS went missing hence the errors)?

I inserted a new child WS (StBdVeranisChild), please use the attached file, everything looks fine.

Please make sure every region starts with St(Bd).

Yes, because i was unaware of the problems it would cause.

I hope the new esp solves your problem. Smile

Please don't edit esp's yourself unless you know what you're doing.
It saves time.

EDIT
I forgot to mention that I like the location you choose for Veranis Hall.

It's best to finish the exterior with the LOD objects like walls, houses and VWD checked on the STLand. When done copy the city into place (*) in the child WS and uncheck the VWD check boxes. This makes it possible to generate the Distant LOD for the child as well. In short the VWD stuff has to be an exact copy of the main STLand WS.

That's how Beth solved the fading problems for the larger child WS's (it has almost no effect on the FPS).

After that you could start detailing the city.

(*) I can do that if required.
