How did we make Lich a Player Class?
That's popped up on The Big Board a couple of times recently, and I don't know how it was done. Tongue

Y'know, that is a darn good question. The simple answer is, i did it. the complex answer is, i begged Saiden Storm, and he did magick until it worked....

If you really want to know, dig through either the FAQs or the archives, and find the thread where we communicated. It involved editing the lich skeleton, so that it had the right bones to be recognized and accepted as a player skeleton. At that point, it was able to be a new player race.

For the skin, it was just a set of armor with the lich model and texture, set to "cannot take off" I would never, EVER advise taking the armor off, and would NEVER advise trying to play the lich.

That's it in a nutshell. Which board did it pop up on? the Tavern?

Wow!
OK. Once you invoke Saiden's name, you have definitely moved out of the realm of the simple. Tongue

A couple of questions like that just popped up over at BSF.

Thanks,
Steve
