How to change the version of a ESP/ESM file?

A small guide.


Use the TES4Gecko v14.4 or a higher version.

Open the TES4Gecko.
Go to the "Edit Description" option and select the file you want to alter.

0.8 == CS 1.0.0.303 compatible (v1.00).
1.0 == CS 1.2.0.404 compatible (v1.20).

Select the version you need and select "update".

If you load an ESP file with a lower version number into the CS with a higher version number and save the ESP file, it's (new) version number will be the same as the CS version (higher).
