immobile race
Steve

Im just throwing this one out their

After looking at several different NPC's I noticed something that may or may not be the reason

Every NPC that attacks on sight has one or the other

A Script

or

Animation files other than Idle

maybe thats it?

I'm so in the weeds now that I'm discounting nothing. Big Grin But when I looked at the Hellsinger scripts, they were all about the neat little "effect" that happens at death. Smile The nolore variable wasn't even declared.

Are there any TES3 CS gurus out there we could ping? This is way beyond my pay grade...

Thanks,
Steve

Another Update

Ok so maybe the race isnt a good one, but more relevant is the race abilities, this race had a special ability attached to it which caused a CE paralyze on self, when I changed the spell effect to resist fire and playtested everything worked as planned

VICTORY !!
************************************************************
Update

I created a new npc and using the seducer race that lz had made, ran in game and she still gave me the statue look....so i replaced she with a new npc using the breton female and it worked

so I think maybe that race of character is no good
************************************************************

at least your in the weeds... Im still in the dirt

Im not thinking on the lines of adding script, I was thinking maybe instead of using something other than the Hellsingers Animation Group Data

since the seducers arn't scripted, just set up the animation and AI as a typical NPC that attacks on site

Its worth a try I think

Ok

so my final fix was just to change the ability to resist fire, I also removed the loin cloth it was causing problems for me, Im sure we can figure that one out also

we got to do something about the RED, it makes my eyes hurt !!!

I understand this is like the fire pit of hell but the game should still be enjoyable, no one can look at that for very long without getting a
headache :pop:

Go ahead and change the red, but try to give it a very light tint. Enough so its visible, but not straining.

I wonder how many people Ive cause to go blind...

I've been playing with some settings for ZGA'S Oblivion cells to keep Harikari's intended feel while still preserving ocular function...Big Grin Here's what I'm using right now for "The Jaws Of Oblivion" and "Oblivion, Dagon's Army" that I like pretty well:

Ambient: 254, 30, 20
Fog: 245, 100, 100 Density 2.00
Sunlight: 0, 0, 0

Try it and tweak it and see what works for you,
