Thats actually not too bad, you need to equilize your voice with the music so that you can hear your voice properly, you seem a bit drowned out from the music.
I am guessing you used just a guitar there, sounds like an acoustic one. Anyway with a good singer this could be a good song.

You gots me to write something else ^^
Have you heard the news? A Texan mother died A thousand died in Burma, and another million cried The media’s self centered, geared for fear and not for life They won’t give you any hope, only decadence and strife The nation’s gone insane, I say the government’s to blame I think our conscience died with the towers and the plane Worse than all their lies is this country’s cowardice When’d you sell your soul for your ignorant bliss? Teachers, doctors, students and preachers, standing in the road The masks they wear obscure the features, like tears atop the snow Every God and chief and church and thief, just collecting what he’s owed We need our soldiers, champions, brave crusaders, to strike the final blow Despite our fear, we’re cavalier, even though history has shown For every tear that finds an ear, a thousand more lie; wasted on the snow You march and chant with fingers clutching signs You leave it to the politicians, a product of the times You petition all the congressman, scream and beg them to comply, And gape at the audacity of those who wonder why It’s not enough, the soldiers fighting in the war we want peace, we want peace, order in some more A necessary casualty, for the love we will achieve It’s the evil ones that killed him, fire as you grieve Teachers, doctors, students and preachers, standing in the road The masks they wear obscure the features, like death atop the snow Every God and chief and church and thief, just collecting what he’s owed We need our soldiers, champions, brave crusaders, to strike the final blow Despite our fear, we’re cavalier, even though history has shown For every fear that finds an ear, a thousand more lie; Bleeding on the snow

Very good Can't fully agree but nice stuff
"Why would I be bound by rules if I can see so far beyond them?"
"I think, therefore I am" - Descartes "I don't think, therefore I spam" "Do not seek to follow the footsteps of the wise, seek what they sought" "On top of the world" |

Very good, I like it as well (I must say I don't understand everything, my english teacher was too pretty so I dreamt during her class instead of listenig). But no way for me to turn it into a song, or at least in my style of songs. But it's maybe way better like that I mean, for your ears.
