Khajiiti Tribal Structure
After reading The Infernal City, i've decided to put together a short guide to tribal life among the clans.

- Live in large tents, maybe half dozen to a dozen around a central campfire.

- If Je'm'ath is mentioned, outsiders may be invited to travel with them.

- The typical greeting in clan meeetings is an offering of cake. A simple sweetcake sprinkled with moonsugar and honey. Non-khajiit may touch the cake to their lips rather than eating it, as Khajiiti cuisine can be dangerous.

- Names are given after the presentation of the cake, but before consumption. Generally only a tribal leader and his warriors are present at the cake eating ceremony, the elders and children are hidden.

- All Khajiit are treated equally, and its best to not ask about the ja-kha'jay, as its way too easy to say the wrong thing and cause offence.

- Following the cake ritual the rest on the clan is met, and Je'm'ath can be discussed. if the cake has been eaten, the clan will not kill you during this encounter.

- If you are travelling with the clan and cake has been shared, the clan will protect you from other bands who may not have the best of intentions

- Je'm'ath is a way of offering a favour and expecting something in return. This is likely an ancient ritual dating back to the days when there were 16 tribes, one tribe would offer a favour, service, or goods in exchange for something in return.

- Sei'dar is like compassion, but not an exact translation. TIC describes it as "reaching out from your interests to embrace ours" helping someone else even though there is no obvious benefit to yourself, however this is a very loose interpretation, and like many Khajiiti words can be interpreted in other ways, or translated differntly.

What is the Lycanthrope, in the Eye of God? A cursed Beast? Or a Miracle?
