well, The Mane:

Quote:He and his tribe live here in stately and exotic palaces built from massive timbers of Valenwood oak,

Quote:Symmetrical sugarcane gardens surround these palaces, where the Mane is often seen in day-long meditations atop his palanquin, held up by his inexhaustible cathay-raht servants.

Quote:Therefore, humans have been traditionally forbidden to trespass on these estates, and the Warrior Guard enforce this measure as strictly as they do around the Tenmar Forest.

propaganda? (the red) or changed... ?

I say for any sense of playability it has to be propoganda, but thanks for bringing these up Krisi-_

Or just have a certain circumstance bring you there out of necessity. That way they could let you in as an exception or something.

Of course they should. Do we have to go to the Mane's palace right away..?

i would say that it can be twisted to fit different play styles through a quest.

you know that you have to get into the place, but then you have choices.

-a thief can sneack in through the sewers or something
-a warior can chalange a guard in combat and the prize is entery
-or guards can be bribed,
-or you cna dres us as a body guard..

endless posibilities, funner gameplay/

I figured it'd be done more... realistically, like how Lady N said or have it be in the MQ or something, where he summons you at some point.

Sneak into the palace, circumvent the guards... to be greeted with hug and some tea? I think the best, and simplest way, would be to let the player just join, perhaps sections of the palace are off limits.

I think it should be invited under the guise of unimportant things, then for the truth to be revealed.

Or, an initiation test proving loyalty to the Mane and his ideals...
