What kind of coins would be used in Akavir?

You could probably get away with the player using Imperial gold, after all, the metal would be valuable anywhere even if the coins themselves aren't.

It would be nice to have some Akaviri coins for the native peoples to use though. Perhaps something really original, like little pyramids made of silver or something?

i thought about this too. If anything, they sort of become tokens or clutter items like OOO's platinum coins. They wont be practical in the normal merchant window and could only be used in scripted or dialogue events, acting more like trade or crafting items. Its not worthwhile to base the entire currency system in akavir on it in the end. However, i suppose a fun septim replacer option could be used.

Use a septim replacer that's worth the same amount as an Imperial coin (say that they have the same amount of gold in them and it's the metal that's valuable).
