Mongolian lamellar armor

I found this nice picture of a recreated Mongolian lamellar armor on Google and I though I'd post it here since you ppl might draw some inspiration from it or whatever. I don't know what race it would be suitable for, but it's a cool armor and I just HAD to post it.

I like lamellar armor, maybe Cortian could model it for the Akavir mod if he wants to.


Personally, i have a great interest in lamellar armor, i like to compare Japanese lamellar armor types to other Asian and middle eastern lamellar armor, they have many similarities.
This Mongolian armor looks a lot like Turkish lamellar armor, thanks again for this awesome picture Psychotic :goodjob:

Well, Mongolians are Turkic, so it probebly does resemble Turkish armor.

Ottoman Turks aren't exactly Mongols. The Turks are a diverse mix of Mongols, Caucasians, and other racial groups...

They're both Turkic

The armor itself looks like Arab-Ottoman Turk design, especially the scimitar.
