Placing Dead NPC's
Does anyone know how I can do this,
I plan on having a dead Necromancer lying in a pool of blood in one of my claims.

Just set the health to 0.

You'll want to activate the havok button to drop him to the ground, too, otherwise he'll drop only when the player approaches him, which could be weird.

Thanks, I forgot to mention that essential part. Smile

You'll also want to set the body as a persistent reference, otherwise it'll eventually disappear.

Thanks for the input! Smile

Resuming.
  • Set health to 0
  • Use havok
  • Check persistent reference

A couple of other points, since I was just adding a few of these to my own project this week:
  • Don't forget to check "no low level processing" to preserve framerate and engine resources.

  • If you want the body to have new items every time the dungeon it is in refreshes (every 3 days normally) also check "Respawn."

I was just trying to do this with a creature - a skeleton, of course - and it didn't show in-game unless I also checked "quest item" in the base form
