Plane of Storms

In my quest to learn all that is learnable, can someone please enlighten me to the interior cells identified as the "Plane of Storms"

Where can it be found or is it linked to some quest?

In the region editor there is a Region called: 'storm plane', give me a min and i'll find out more.

K, I didn't find out much, only that the region is only used for that 1 interior cell... And that it's set to have lightning storms 100% of the time...

If I had to guess, I'd say you have to go to the plane of storms to kill some boss or retrieve some artifact for some quest...

I'd also guess that The Plane of Storms is a part of Oblivion where Storm Atronarcs come from...

I'll try find out more.

K seems there are boss' there called Storm Lords, and a few artifacts (Storm Axe, Shield of the Hunt, Cuirass of the Hunt, Spear of the Hunt) Some unique books (couarge book, hunt book)

Most noticeably is 8 teleporters thought they were from some ruins, but that's just the default location... not sure where they are from...

There's a gem called Clouds Tear under a statue of Mehrunes Dagon, that's blocked off by force shields and invisible walls.

Well I appreciate you giving it a go

Its in the TES3 esp, so I figured if its not attached to something I can find a good place to put it, maybe under one of the Daedric Shrines, but now Im not so sure I want to do that...maybe another time

I found out a bit more about the quest, it seems the 3 hunt artifacts have to be taken back to an alter to escape the plane, i'll coc into that cell and see what i can discover.

When entering the plane the text box comes up from Stormlord S'kiraz saying to come and find him, talking to him didn't work until i went to the north-east and entered the maze area, where i had to find the 3 artifacts and return them to the altar, when that happened i was ported to the Stormlord, who said he was busy and ported me to the chamber with the gem Clouds Tear, it seems the whole point of this area is to retrieve the Clouds Tear.

Still no idea how to get in or out of this place without the console.

Mages Guild: Nethol Anuris gives you a ring that lets you enter the plane of storms, it's a quest for him.

I am now wondering if that quest is broken somehow

I remember when I first played ST (1-4_3) release I heard rumor something about the wheather and that Nethol might have something to do with it
When I arrived at the mages guild I asked about him and then found him in his tower, but he would not talk to me
