(Separated from the Deepen Moor progress thread)

Strange, I can't manage to rotate my trees.

Me nether. I'm pretty sure it's impossible to do by hand.

Conform to slope
Which EXE has which behavior? I have straight-from-CD OB on my wife's comp. I know nothing about region generation; is it something that could be farmed out to me to do here overnight?

I find experimenting is the best way to learn how region generating works. Just go small steps at a time. And generate in small areas. I can obviously go into a little more detail about how specific features work, but that's how it would all boil down.

Were you interested in claiming a region? =)

I was thinking on that actually, but the immediate motivation was something I vaguely remember about the actual generation (once presets are done) taking eons. Didn't know if I could help with that.

BTW is there a map of ST will present and proposed regions outlined?

Thanks,
Steve

Link to various maps

The actual coordinates are for the most part done. The only regions without coordinate maps are Bitter Coast South, the Velothi Mountains, the Forgotten Forest, and the Reich Parkeep Region. I might do them later this or next week, now that you reminded me. :O Nobody's really bugged me for them, but they will need to be done eventually - might as well get them done sooner rather than later*.

*(By that, I mean it's always a good idea to get something done as soon as possible - just that these maps take a lot of time to make.)

Ashunor is still up for claiming.
Bitter Coast Latrys North was claimed by blackbird.
Bitter Coast Latrys South is up for claiming
Bitter Coast North is probably going to be done by me
Bitter Coast South will be up for claiming
Deepen Meadows is up for claiming
Deepen Moor was claimed by kingevil
Dumac was claimed.
Forgotten Forest is already up for claiming
Reich Parkeep is not going to be up for claiming.
Silgrad Hills was claimed by sandor
Silgrad Region was claimed by sandor
Steadhelm was claimed by sandor.

Hmm... I'll post this all in a sticky thread when I finish the last maps.

EDIT 14/01/08: Some of these maps are now out of date. If you need the most recent map of a specific region, check the respective thread. If you can't find the image or the region doesn't have a public thread, contact me and I'll see what I can do.

What do you mean?
EDIT
I assume you're talking about the rotation and not about the conform to slope feature. It's not possible to manipulate these values by hand.

With which (region) preset you couldn't generate the "conform to slope" content?
