Regions of Elsweyr
From top to bottom in the region editor:

Ne-Quin-Al Desert:
The Ne-Quin-Al desert is the central desert of the Elsweyr Province. Things to put here are dunes, mesas, scattered cacti, the occasional oasis. rare patches of dead grass. All towns built in this region need to have an oasis nearby for water. Use the Orcrest tileset for these settlements.

Cyrodiil/Valenwood:
Don't build any towns here, these are beyond the borders. really only need trees and ground textures to match up with the respective provinces. Perhaps a some quick mockups of Leyawiin Bravil and Skingrad for LOD purposes

Quin'Rawl Peninsula:
The Quin'Rawl Peninsula is a stip of land which juts out from southern Elsweyr and houses Senchal a major port city. Thins to put here are cliffs, jungles, beaches the occasional clearing. Towns should be positioned along a road (though we don't have any yet) and in a jungle clearing. the weather here is pretty wet and rainy. We do not have a tileset for torval or senchal yet, concept would be appreaciated.

Southern Ocean:
No buildings here, lots of seaweed and a few ship wrecks.

Topal Sea:
As with Sotuhern Ocean.

Topal Island:
Shared with Black Marsh, this island will be used as a teaser for both provinces. One small Khajiiti town (orcrest tileset) should be built on the southern end of the island, leaving the rest for the Argonians in Black Marh to do what they wish.

Khenarthi Mesa:
A small region surrounding the Mesa. please do not touch this region.

Xylo River:
This is where the Xylo river that borders Valenwood should go. this should have jungle at the southern end and savannah/valenwood trees at the northern end.

Tenmar Forest:
This is a dense jungle in the heart of southern elsweyr. this should be filled with dense jungle plants and many poisonous flora. We are lacking in jungle plants at the mo, but we'll get to that later.

Topal Bay:
A stretch of fertile farmland on the coast of the Topal Sea. Moon Sugar is grown here, with the odd patch of jungle. many streams exist, allowing seawater from the topal sea to leach into the soil with the twin moon tide.

The Rim:
A chain of small hills that runs along the cyrodiil border. should start out more savannah like in the west, giving way to more blackwood style vegetaion as the border approaches. Use Orcrest tileset for settlements in this region. Rimmen is an oddity from the norm, being build by the imperials. lots of dead, dry grass, the occasional patch of green around water-holes, baobab and savannah trees would work in great here.

The Badlands:
separates Tenmar Forest and Ne-Quin-Al Desert. this is real rough terrain, loads of rocks, sand dead/dry grass easy to get lost in. Any towns that happen to be in this area should use the corinth tileset, once we make one.

Xylo Basin:
West of the Ne-Quin-Al desert, this is th main river catchmentfor the Xylo river. A small chain of hils should separate it from the desert, as the is where the old Elsweyr border was. they type of landscape used here should be savannah in the east, giving way to valenwood trees to the far west. The Dune Tileset should be used for all towns in this region.

The Riverhold Steppes:
This is the northernmost region of elsweyr. The terrain here should gradually rise from the desert in some hill on the cyrodiil border. these lands are reasonably fertile so scattered farms can be assembled. We don't currently have a riverhold tileset, but fingers crossed.

ElsweyrBorderRegion:
Defines the playable border for the province, please do not alter.

Desert Generic:
Textures a heap of desert, not used for any other purpose

Orcrest Region:
The region for Orcrest. please do not alter
