The problem is due to the server. Thanks to our anonymous benefactor I have the theoretical option to fix the problem by migrating our forum to another server, which I think is much much better than this one. The problem is I don't have the faintest idea on how to move an sql database. If there happens to reside an expert here on that kind of stuff I would be very interested in exploring the option.

Razorwing, Do you know how to access your database? if so, I know a program that helps you make a backup and lets you transfer it, but you need to know the username and password of your database.
