a few quests should be in which would require a bit more than no thinking, or amazing dungeons at least.

I read the storyline of Telvanni and surely like it!
[1ST]T[/1ST]his is what a heightmap looks like, this is what it does when it catches hold of you, it's eating me alive and very soon now it will kill me.

Smile well the dungeons is up to the makers... but how you must fulfill the quest I should get into more detail and make it more interesting, thanks

Quote:Telvanni Tower
Strong Souls
Go get two soul gems filled with 'strong souls'.
Talk to Sashpilamat Orcs
The Orcs at Shashpilamat agree to help guard the new Tel Orsimer in exchange that their lives be spared and they own the Daedric shrine area of the tower.
Oversee construction
Talk to the orc overseeing the construction and be notified that all is well. The shroom-hold will be ready in a week's time.
Does it HAVE to be called Tel Orsimer? Tel Uvirith was a cool name, but Orsimer... eh...

oh thanks.. "hey guys, your ideas were all mediocre" ... thank you very much... :|
it was finally decided Orsimer as the orcs there made a pact with the Telvanni wizard moving in that they'd protect each other an respect each other's domains... and so it is Orc-tower, or Tel Orsimer... and orcs are the guards of it

As promised KK, the crit (and never forget you asked for it, so there) but never fear, there is lotsa good stuff here, just lettin it pass by me atm...

Deliver Ultimatum to Tel Arunh / Mavon Drenim
Yngling (who stole a gigantic amount from the temple refurbishment project) was not going to survive, one way or another, even if YOU did not accept the assassination mission, someone else would have succeeded as he was also very unpopular. Suggest you circumvent likely upsets by making his passing a matter of unexplained history, and use a new and equally loathsome Hlaalu in this quest line...

Mouth Raven Omayn
Your Mournhold Inspector starts out with the Medieval English formal phrase, 'Pray, tell me...' and swops to 20th century hippy US slang, 'wow, isn't this spectacular' sorry KK, but (despite your formidable grasp of English as a second language) this does not scan. Actually it is why I volunteered to do the editing bit - so do use my talents when you get to doing dialogue, or prepare to face serious criticism (open or hidden) from natural English speakers...

Councillor Quests
Dratha
WTF??? Aryon is the 'modernist' who is fascinated by technology and stuff. His opponents are the old guard who ABHOR, hate reject, repudiate utterly, ummm, do not want anything to do with Dwemer...

Might be a good idea to try another quest line for Dratha...subtle hint?

Ashlander Reinsurance
This blight potion is old hat, and here (with his permission) I would like to do an 'Axen' and suggest that it should not be revisited in this way - there must be another way to achieve your aims here...

Hire Dark Brothers
Surely this is Nelly Belly we are talking about here, the Arch Traditionalist himself - he would never hire the Dark Brotherhood -

Actually, wtf is he doing allying with Helseth and the Hlaalu in the first place - these are people that he would automaticallly despise... and he would never unbend / stoop to ally with an enemy of all he believes in like this - he is the pure aspect of Telvanni functional donkey.

New suggestion:
I suspect that he would reject all overtures and attempt his own personal rebellion (with Telvanni Allies only) as he would not bend the neck to anyone, and neither would he be seduced by the young whippersnapper Helseth (even though he might like Barenziah)

You might consider adjusting the outcome of the Helseth Envoy Quest = enjoy watching Helseth's envoy sent on his way with a flea in his ear (maybe a conjured flea?) and thus create the basis for Aryon's later diplomacy? After all the failure of messengers that you escort is not your player's concern, he just gets them there and can enjoy watching them get chopped to bits (mostly figuratively) by the haughty Telvanni Masters...

There is more stuff that you can do here to keep the player guessing I think, and make the whole thing enjoyable - after all some of these envoys tht you escort might end up in dungeons etc. There might be room for a save the envoy from a Mushroom Dungeoun Quest in there somewhere, so don't write off the creative process on this one quite yet. There is useful stuff here, and your scenario offers plenty of scope for more variety, as the business of diplomacy is always twisty...

hmm....

Tel Aruhn / Mavon Drenim
so basically what does thi shave to do with Mavon Drenim, you seem to be talking more about Yngling

Raven Omayn
well I gotta get good at some language... I started out with Madarin and Taiwanese and English comes in and kicks Taiwanese out and weakens my mandarin... truthfully I am not THAT knowledgeable of what the TES scholarly, learned man would talk like... I supposed like in medieval type noble talk?

Councilor Quests
Dratha: they are not against Dwemer, infact MOST Telvanni are quite fascinated with Dwemer and their legacy and artifacts. But I do know Aryon's groupy is MORE so than Dratha's type. I will take your advice.

Ashlander Reinsurance
okay I will rethink and expand this one a bit, I was running out of ideas at that moment and I guess I just plugged in an old idea - Blight potions

Neloth
I think Neloth would not hire Dark Brothers know that I think about it...
but remember, him allying with Helseth is NOT stooping. The Telvanni are supposedly "allied" with Helseth even though in truth they are neutral, but seek to "ally" with the rising power to avoid all the trouble. Aryon doesn't agree... he outmaneuvers the old-hardheaded councilors and establishes his power, at least on Vvardenfell...
just want to make that clear, Neloth is NOT stooping, he is simply being exactly what the traditional Telvanni on the mainland would do, be morally flexible and politically stubborn.

I do realize that the diplomacy aspect of the later quests DO make it a bit boring... I will work on them with your suggestions...
