Oddly enough, Hieronymus Rex. I was walking around in the temple district, somewhat lost, so I asked the nearest person for directions, it happened to be him.

I met the good folks at the horse stables in front of the IC. I know didn't talk to them and headed into the plaza. I don't remember much after that. I think I remember seeing beggars and the dragon statue, but then I turned around and went on the bridge. My first quest was probably the Rumare Slaughterfish thing, which at the time was broken.
