Howdy

Is thier a way to increase the size of the in-game map to allow you to see lands which would typically be off the grid I think it goes out to -35 west and I dont know the other directions, but any landmasses passed that point would be cut off or skewed horribly

Thanks
Bob

nope.

It's probably why Solsthiem is in the incorrect place according to the official maps, they moved solsthiem several hundred meters to the east and south so it well fit on map.

Wish it was possible, theorhetically, it could be done with a 3rd party program like the extender, but too much work to do it imho.

Unless you want to completly rewrite the morrowind engine Tongue

Asked on the TES foums, maybe someone else might have a solution:

I was informed in the Official Forum that thiers a program called Morrowind Graphics Extender that allows you to do this

Ever heard of it ?

Not sure if I want to use it, looks complicated ?(

MGE is great; it lets you use things like antialising, anisotropic filtering, and mipmap LOD bias.

In layman's terms, it makes stuff look better.

There's a feature called distant land which lets you have an infinite view distance like in Oblivion. I used the scrolls of icarian flight, and Vvardenfell looked amazing even with really low textures. I could see Silgrad Tower from Hlormaren, it's insane. It doesn't render buildings or other statics though, just the landscape.

I saw another suggestion on this topic, it was the use of a inventory map

player carries around in his/her inventory.
As the player moves into a new cell, the new cell appears on the inventory map,
now that would be way too extensive for my tastes
but maybe regions and key locations. should not be a problem Confusedhrug:
