Okay, well, I don't know what I was thinking when I suggested "kaga". My brain in bilingual mode is not a pretty sight. I must have been thinking "bud" instead of "blossom", but bud hasn't bloomed yet. Blossom and flower are more similar words, so I decided to just use the word for flower -- "hana". "Knifeflower" is more like "Knifeblossom". I can still change it to "sakura", if "Houchouhana" isn't preferred. I just need to make sure this uniform is correct before I attempt to make more.
And I downloaded the "Han" mod to make a new model to get the overall effect of these kimono as they are meant to be. My drow is much relieved he is no longer a kimono model. :banana: (Maybe a little too relieved. Kielanai's never seen him dance like that before.) JPGs are a little blurry, but the kanji is very clear in game. :yes: I may make it a little bigger, though.

I kinda like the idea of Keilanai as a shopkeeper/artisan. If we work out any kind of ability to ingame make stuff, her npc could be the master teacher too. Or even a sensei in one or more quests.
Corthian could be another sensei.

You mean like the craft items mods? I love immersive stuff like that, where there are multiple dimensions to the character's background! She is a bard by class, but works as an alchemist on the side. Perhaps she runs a little kimono trade as well because bards are supposed to be artistic in many ways. ^_^ I don't know anything about adding NPC's to games yet, ... something I need to learn, ... along with the many other things I need to learn.
I mentioned in another post, I've been sick lately but it's been to the benefit of my game projects. I haven't been very focused on anything, but I've covered a lot of ground between Oblivion and Morrowind in exploring and creating. So, hopefully soon, I will have some unreleased items to share from my wintery-Akaviri Bruma house revision. (Snowy temple tapestries, blanket textures, dishes ...) My body feels horrible, but my mind is overwhelmed with ideas at the moment, so I'll try to finish at least one thing I started and begin work on the kimono set 3 projects this week. (I may even be able to borrow a graphics tablet so I can clean up some of those lines!) *happy dance ... cough, cough* Okay, none of that for now. *sniff*

Will we be able to make sushi? *snicker* Challenge 1 -- catch fish. Challenge 2 -- cut it properly. Challenge 3 -- cook the rice. Challenge 4 -- form the roll. Challenge 5 -- eat only one. Fire damage possible if adding a little too much wasabi.
Okay, not kimono to show off this time, but other Akavir thingies. This is the cabin in Bruma for sale, but with a twist. I wanted to keep the original feel of the Bruma design with the Nord influence, but I wanted to include something with the Pale Pass influence for my PC. I haven't tested it for any kind of release yet, so I don't know if it screws up the ability to buy the house or anything like that. But these are all snowy, rustic, pale colored things. if you want any of these interior items, I can package the folders. Just let me know what you'd like donated to the project.

I wish I could make models. Really I do.
But it's probably good that I can't or I'd go crazy trying to make everything I want in the game. I'd have sushi and sashimi and udon and yakisoba and takoyaki and sakura mochi and ozouni and ... no ume boshi ... Bleh. OH! POCKY! 
Okay, pocky is too modern, but pocky mesh would be cool, ne?The files for the cabin are cleaned up and ready for release, except that I don't know how to erase the furniture bought with the house. I tested it for a new character and if he bought the cabin with my mod installed before the house purchase and went straight to it without buying furniture, there are no further purchases to make. Everything is furnished already. (I deleted the furniture script thinking that would help.) But when I bought the furniture quest items, saved, and then installed my mod, the old furnishings were still there along with the new ones. When I look in my render window in CS, the only thing there is my own meshes. So, it looks okay in the CS, but not in the game. :bash: I don't know what I'm doing wrong.
I want to release the mod, but right now it's not useable by anyone who has already bought the furnishings. ... Unless the player wants to use the console and manually delete the already purchased furniture. Any ideas on how to fix that?
Also, I've decided to go ahead and release this mod generally once I fix it because it's meant for the Bruma setting (uses a lot of obvious Bruma textures like the carved logs). You are still welcome to use anything in it for the project, of course.
But for exclusive things, I realized it might be better to wait and see what architecture is like for specific areas in Akavir before designing furnishings for it. The rustic Bruma look might feel very out of place in other interiors, ne? I'll just concentrate on exclusive kimono for now.Edit:

If you can't fix the furniture buying glitch, then put a note in your description warning people not to buy the furniture for that house while your mod is installed and explain why.

Hmmm... you could try to remove the furniture from the merchant's "sell items" list/inventory, or whatever

If you can not fix the furniture problem, then it would be better if you do not release the mod at all.
The warning Ysne was talking about has a problem, most people do not read the important things, so people will complain about your mod on the forums, and this might damage your reputation as a modder.
I believe the chaya model website (were we got our buildings from) also has food models, like sushi... maybe we could use those :yes:
