The 2nd one in faces part 1 looks really cool.
Great work! :goodjob:

So Kielanai, do you like Gackt?
I noticed how your half Tsaesci, half Dunmer npc Rindaalyn sort of looks like Gackt in his role of Uesugi Kenshin in Furin Kazan, the hair and skin colors are different ofcourse, but they do look very similar: LINK TO YOUTUBE
RE: Hehe. "Metrosexual charm" ... - Kielanai - 09-11-2007
Ra, (why do I feel like I'm addressing a sun god when I type your name?) ... Kielanai was my PC for the main quest. She is the character that I made Kojima for, but then decided to share it with anyone else who might want it. So, in remaking Kojima into a village, I decided to put her in as NPC because she is responsible for bringing all the people there. (I can't just stick a bunch of people on that island without a reason.) I guess I'm pretty happy with the way her NPC turned out, even though she looks more like a twin sister, ... to me. Kielanai #1 looks more elven. Kielanai #2 looks like a tall human. But this makes me wonder how we will transfer our own NPC's into Akavir, if they were originally PC's. Probably have to go through the same process of recreating from scratch, unless someone finds easier way.
I am so jealous for you having real, full face-gen. You can turn photos into characters, can't you? That would be interesting. I could put Japanese celebrities on the island, and no one would complain about them being ugly. ... Nah, I like my averages. Though it would be funny to see if anyone recognizes famous faces, ne?
Like Gackt.
I adore Gakuto-san. He is so talented in many ways and has a most beautiful voice, even if he is rather ... quirky. (Then, again, I am quirky too.) I am surprised you knew of his TV appearance in that show. A friend of mine told me he was in it, and I kept telling myself to watch it or look it up. But I keep forgetting. Thank you for the link.
Beremat, I had to laugh, too, because after finishing Haruki, I blinked at him for a moment and thought, "Who does he remind me of? He looks a little like Tsubasa Imai." But then I looked back at the old tavern keeper and realized he reminded me of someone, too. "Oh no! He looks like my friend Miyuki!" :lmao: She has the same tiny eyes that almost shut when she smiles big. ... Sssh. ... We will not tell her this. I don't think she would appreciate being compared to an old man.
Any resemblances are not on purpose, though. I just thought of general faces I see and tried to make something to represent variety.

Despite what others may say - I am very impressed by those new virtual people.

DELETED.
RE: is that a she-male or a transvestite? - Kielanai - 09-12-2007
I just had a very long post with included links here, but I have decided to spare Kodama the job of moderating a sensitive, off-topic issue. After some thought, I decided it's best to delete my own post. Gomennasai. I will answer brief, instead.
Quote:is that a she-male or a transvestite?
Neither. He is man who, like other Japanese entertainers, uses costume as part of his total stage performance.
Gackt Official Website
And as for your other comments, I suggest you do some research on modern Japanese fashion, the history of Japanese kimono, kabuki costume and influence, and gender-appearance attitudes and practices here.
Edit: Sorry for all the edits, too! :bash: My browser keeps locking up on me.

I don't understand what what this has to do with Kielanai's realease thread. American football players pat each on the butt and prisoners have sex with each other, but neither of these groups consider themselves gay. None of this has anything to do with this project so let it drop.
What exactly do you bring to the table anyway IntranetUSA?

Indeed, i don't mind when people have something to say, but let's dop it

^ omg, is that one of those androgenous males? >_> <_< I thought they only existed in animes... ? >_<
Are you referring to Gackt? It's against forum rules to insult people you know :alert:
Let's keep things within the forum rules from now on, i don't want anyone to get an ip ban

I went ahead and deleted the recent posts by intranetusa because they did not ad anything and were offensive. Should I find any more posts like that, there will be an ip ban from this forum although probably not from the rest of Silgrad Tower unless he violates rules in other forums as well.

However, they don't wear heavy makeup and look metro Football players keep a heavy masculine aurora around them and no one doubts their sexuality.

Offensive to whom? Everyone else here agreed the images had "metro elements" to them. And by the nature of the ">_<" symbol I posted meant it was a joke.
Also, why did you delete my last post when I didn't even mention the androgenous male pics? My last post was regarding modern fashions... >_>
Anyways, to summarize what I posted to Kielanai before it was deleted.
Those elements are characteristics of modern Japanese fashions, not traditional... And aspects have been influenced by western culture. Furthermore, I can make another point that this is just contributing to the stereotype that Asian males are weak and feminine.
