Okay, I'm sure Tlo will turn up here soon though. In the meantime, I'm sure that if I can get some time spare then I'll be able to contribute with the landscaping to some extent. It'd be nice to work alongside aberneth, of course.

That's very kind of you. We could really use some help with that. Senten did a fair bit of landscaping around his town claims, as did the others, but I suspect that a lot of the wilderness marsh areas remain blank.

I thought so. The priority villages which still need doing are Tenmar Wall and Sloughpoint.
Once I have finished Rockguard (this week I hope) I would like to make Tenmar Wall. Would you be interested in making Sloughpoint?

Definitely, but only if I can get the time. The amount of work I'm doing lately is ridiculous. It just keeps flooding, which is great, really....but it puts a spanner in the works for me doing some modding.

It's not often you get modders falling over each other to get to the claims. Things are looking up around here.

There are also at least two (possibly three) Argonian villages that need doing, using koniptions huts (or a mixture with llamaranger's huts as well, though we may want to save those for deeper into the marsh?)

I'm aware that we've sort of hi-jacked this thread and are going off on a tangent. However, I'd like to just add one last thing that is definitely relevant here, regarding new recruits.
Being familiar with the claims that are open at Silgrad Tower, I am aware that the claims here are either not open at all or are lacking, thus limiting the options for involvement of people who are curious and might mod. Furthermore, the claims at ST come with specific directions as to what to do with them. That also appears to be missing here......unless it's just because I haven't actually done any modding here yet and therefore I'm not privy to that information, which is fair enough.

Actually I think you are right. Claims here tend to be opened on an informal basis - someone asks, it is granted and a claim thread is made based on that.
I think that the reason the forum is so disorganised is because the project is now quite old as these things go and has seen several changes of management. I mean no offense to Tlo at all, he's doing a great job and it's thanks to him that the project is still alive today. But a lot of the threads that date from before he took over are years old, disordered and confusing, especially for new members.
I'm not sure who has moderator powers for this forum, but I think between them they should set up a new and reorganised claim system for the areas that remain to be done for the beta. And archive all the threads dating from before the current project leadership.
