i know alot about lore and i have made a good few race mods but i lost them but i find it easy to make races and i could easily make reptile races but in terms of races i am not good at lore.can i do some playtesting aswell.

hey im new and was wondering if i could join the black marsh team i like drawing concepts for every thing lore flora and more and i would like to get into 3d moddeling

The best way to become a team member is to contribute. Start doing some work and in time you'll be a regular contributor (like myself) and if you keep at it, you'll get a position on the team.
Mind you, don't start off doing your own stuff. Take a look at the open claims or alternatively, ask someone to point you in the direction of what you can and want to do.

Our modelling team is absolutely first-class so you'd certainly pick things up. However, you would need to contribute. We're short on modders so I need people to chip in now and then with some modding claims. Not a lot, just to keep things bubbling. In the meantime, here are the open model claims: Open Model Claims .
Anyway, please read the original post of this thread carefully and don't forget to get yourself a modding ID. Direwolf66 should probably be DW, which is fine. Concepts would be nice. Koniption does most of our flora and we're currently brainstorming some ideas for various regions that are just outside of our beta, including the Arnesian Jungle, Vudai Marsh, Murkwood and Talu Swamp. We tend to base a lot of our ideas on real flora but we do get really creative at times. Let us know on the concept art section what you might be able to offer and we'll try to keep your talents on-track.

I'd just like to add this to Ibsen's post: If you can make good concepts for lore friendly flora or even just non-real flora that is creative and spooky/alien-esque looking, that'll help whoever models them, whether it eventually be you or someone else.
As far as you learning 3D modeling, I use 3DS Max and not Blender (or any of the other programs). So I can help you with Max stuff only, plus the Nifskopery work that comes after exporting a model. Someone else will have to help you if you use a different 3D program, though.

alright i've been looking through the massive quantities of stuff here and i'm a little confused.
I figured i'd start small so that i can get a feel for the resources, but i'm unsure how to make a claim. I'm interested in doin "Hixinoag: Green Star Staffs Interior", so do i just make a post in that thread saying i want to do it?
