Hi Dr. Death (I think that's what I'll have to call you normally... =) ),
It's amazing how many new modders we're getting. If we have all the new guys operating at full strength, we'll have a fully completed mod long before I'd hoped. Anyway, as KP mentioned, we've had a lot of disappointments along the way from timewasters. All we can do with some of them is put them on a big, dirty s**tlist when we release our mod and say how they wasted our time. I think that's fair considering the fact that all we request is just a very little now and then and to be kept in-the-know as we know that people have real lives after all...and so do we. =)
So I'll just add to what KP said by saying "Welcome to BM" and linking you to this post: New Modders Start Here .
It should tell you all of the essential stuff but we'll try to keep you on-track along the way. If you're puzzled by anything, feel free to post up on 'The Sticky Guar' or send myself or one of the other core members a PM. Koniption (KP) handles model-related stuff whilst Deeza is the lore King. Other than that, I can pretty much claim authority on most stuff.
How's DD for your modding abbreviation? I'd like to keep it to two letters and DR is already taken. I added this here: http://www.silgrad.com/wbb2/thread.php?threadid=5617.
When you're ready (and have all the files such as the esm and the bsa archive) then drop by the claims section here: http://www.silgrad.com/wbb2/board.php?boardid=237 and let me know what you're interested in, bearing in mind that there may not be much right now as we're working towards a beta release and the only open claims are those that are left from that. Beyond the beta, more of the mod will be opened up to players so if you keep track of developments and check the maps: All Maps (REFERENCE ONLY - No Posting) and various other claims , you'll probably find stuff to do that may interest you more.
All I need is confirmation of all of this then I'll send you the archive files in a PM (private message) and you're good to go.
Oh, and I'm afraid I've not been too busy this month. January is a difficult month for me in my job but I'm starting to get on top of things now so hopefully the new members will benefit a little more from a more motivated Lizard King soon... =)

Well, he was... his nickname was XXMagma5 and he got his laptop awhile go but Oblivion won't work at al on it so he had the bsa's but no use for them so he gave them to me. Along witht the esm.
About esm's, the download of the High Rock one is keeps cancelling out so i might have to wait for my mom to get back witht the modem. But I can still help out with Black Marsh, which is the bright side. I'll have the modem by Friday so I wil get on that village then.

I can't recall which BSA we were on when XXMagma5 joined, but we are on our second BSA now. You might actually have an old BSA, and also might be missing some patch files that came after the second BSA release. You might want to verify with Ibsen's Ghost that you have the correct BSA version and all patch files.

Oh no, he recently got the latest one like three weeks ago, not sure if you've updated since. He just wanted to see if it would work, he down,loaded them then went to install OB but it wouldn't. (He got a second hand one).
So he passed them along to me. He might come back when he gets a new one but, I think he is just to sick of the problems.
I have them along witht the patches and esm.

Okay, it's probably fine then. The latest bsa was uploaded around the end of November 2010. Even still, check that you have BMData9 as I think SilverAlchemist was missing this file recently whilst working on a dungeon claim and it meant that he had fewer tileset pieces for the mossy ruins than he should have....my fault, really. I should have alerted him to it.

If it is any consolation, I found the files on how to make a worldspace. Still an ultra noob but maybe down the track after a few weeks of practise I can help out in that are if possible. But the Heightmap editor I suck at. Don't know whatto do with that so don't ask me.

Don't worry. We have all worldspaces sorted out and I tend to work on the regions myself.
