- Tobi the Dane - 12-22-2007 Okay, a corner is done, this one proved more difficult than the others, the maps are stretching a little bit, but you won't really notice, also I had to tweak the previous models a bit in order to snap more effectively, I also fixed some unwrapings that could have been better, makes my work a lot more easy now. I also applied some different maps to the columns on the archway. http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c280/Tobias-T007/ScreenShot30kopi.jpg Edit: the second corner is done: http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c280/Tobias-T007/Silgrad%20Tower%20Models/ScreenShot31.jpg and here's both corners in full action: http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c280/Tobias-T007/Silgrad%20Tower%20Models/ScreenShot32.jpg While playing around with the models I discovered this hole, so I decided to make a "fix" which covers the hole on the left "building": http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c280/Tobias-T007/Silgrad%20Tower%20Models/ScreenShot33.jpg Afterwards i dicovered that it could be used as a dumpster, either for garbage or prisoners : http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c280/Tobias-T007/Silgrad%20Tower%20Models/ScreenShot34.jpg and lastly a picture of me, high on skooma, ´cus I was bored: http://i29.photobucket.com/albums/c280/Tobias-T007/Silgrad%20Tower%20Models/ScreenShot29.jpg That's enough for today, goodnight everybody! - nerbod - 12-23-2007 Marvelous!! - RideWithTheWind - 12-23-2007 I'm just amazed, I tried to find some constructive critics but can't find any! What do you plan to do next? Towers? Stairs? Maybe you could spare some time by using some of Zarf's meshes ( Zarf's Imperial Fort ). Especially for the stairs part, because I believe that making a collisioned stair is not an easy job... Anyway, :goodjob: - Tobi the Dane - 12-23-2007 thank you! Yup, I'm doing the stairs next, but not only are my models different from Zarf's, I rather do it all myself. Stairs are not that hard, I made some before, just as easy as a regular wall. After the stairs are done, I think I'll do a "corner stair", two in fact, one that is round and a square one, mainly because I can and it's great fun. then another pair, going up or down. edit: I have edited the my first post on page 1. I have added a list of models I want to make, so far only exterior models are listed. I think the interior one will be added when it's their time) edit2: fixed some stuff.. - kingevil - 12-23-2007 Looks excellent - blackbird - 12-23-2007 It looks good to me. - Razorwing - 12-24-2007 Great job, man! Everything looks perfect :goodjob: - bob196045 - 12-24-2007 Super Job Tobi, they look great I like your Idea for using the hole as a prisoner keep, put a grate over the hole and stick a prisoner inside Enjoy Bob - IAMTHEEMPEROR - 12-24-2007 Very nice! After playing around with Imperial Fort pieces in the CS for two days, I must say your versions are very spot on to the originals. The little wall thingies on top of the fort walls look taller, but that's an improvement in my oppinion. I think they're called crenels. Are you also planning on doing interiors for the Imperial Fort set? That should be the easiest part, it's all so square and flat - Tobi the Dane - 12-24-2007 Yep, I will be doing the interriors as well. I will be spend a little time playing Thief, since the other day I found some stuff which could easily turn into some stealth enhancing setpieces. Maybe I could find some more |
