Could Restoration be used to harm vampires in any way?
I doubt it, but the Vampire Hunters dont have to be all about hunting vampires, since we've already established that tehy will play other roles in the society as well. But who knows, maybe vampires absolutely hate it when somebody heals them... or something.

well... after fighting a Vampire, you could either get vampirism, a few huge gaping wounds, or both...
in that case it would definitely be nice to know some magic pertaining to the art of Restoration...

Well yah, that was my initial reasoning for suggesting restoration, I was just trying to think of some additional multiple uses for it, that would make it a must for them, rather than a favored skill.

so yeah, restoration

So just to catch myself up.
Vampires: Will have all three clans from Morrowind, with a small-scale power struggle going on between themselves. This questline will jot effect the MQ though, but just be an internal Vampire clans storyline. Some quests for the clans will still involve attacking a local town for food, while depending on which side your part of, could have you attacking the town, helping defend it, or even trying to stop the other clan from stealing your food source.
Have we decided on what changes will take place when infected by vampirism? I was thinking it could be something like dark red eyes, and very slight fangs, and paler skin (perhaps skin could change depending on when the last time you feed was? If you don't feed every night, you start to become very pale and it becomes very noticable that something is wrong with you). I am trying to go for things that would not be very noticable except for those few who know what to look for (Vampire Hunter's, etc.).
Vampire Hunter's:- Blade
- Block
- Light Armor
- Acrobatics
- Destruction
- Athletics
- Restoration
Trophies (hearts, fangs, etc.) will be used as ways to gain rank in the guild. While hunting Vampires will be their main job, they will also play the role of a monster hunter for hire? Quests will range from killing off a certain Vampire that's rampaging in *insert city name here*, to healing another person who's been inflicted with vampirism, to just killing a larger than life beast terrorizing a local village.
Anything else I'm missing over?

thats pretty much it, good summary :goodjob:
however, the vampirism changes are up to bethesda, i'm sure we'll make our vampires the same as theirs, feeding and looks wise, and you hit the nail on the head with the vampire hunter stuff as well

True

Soo, we basicly wait to see what will become out of it.

I guess all we can do now is start throwing together quests for both the Vampire clans as well as the Vampire Hunters.
Beth better do a damn good job on vampires this time around. I actually want to look forward to playing as them in Oblivion.

I hope they do too, but it seems like the few things we've heard sound like vast improvements, at least in terms of gameplay and enjoyability. Plus, with the added capabilities of Radiant AI and the more focused storylines, I would imagine the vampires will be very entertaining this time around.
