Going by the third screenshot attached in the above post, it looks like you could barely fit more than a bed in there? If they're instead sized to 50%-75% of the size they were originally, ie as seen in Alpha 04.5, I think there would be a good balance between scale and versatility.
The patio rocks look very nice by the way.

Quote:That there wouldn't even import in to 3DS Max. :-D When I opened the zip file, the file inside had no extension on it. I added .obj and attempted to import it, but it didn't work.
That would be becasue its a .nif.

Ill take a closer look at everything, these are going to be one room huts still are they not? I mostly don't want them towering over the landscape like they were before. Ill make an test living space of sorts and see how it fits.

In TES4's cottages, there isn't a ton of room in those either.

There could be. But the two models referred to as huts are also the default types of Redoran homes, and I wouldn't want to base the majority of claims on buildings as small as those in your latest renders. That's why I figured 50%-75% of the ones in the mod would be a good middle-ground. Because in hindsight I also think the buildings in the mod right now are too large.

Here are some images showing the potential interior space of each building at their current size. As you can see I moved the place where the chimnyn would be in the smaller hut t ogive it more space. Depending on people's ideas on how much space they wanted iin the inside of these it could go a little bigger, but I think they are at least at a functional size at this point. What does everyone else think?

I don't think the smaller one will have that option, but the larger one will. All of the other buildings will definatly have basement options.

It has to be possible. Razorwing, tibmaker, what do you do?

I fire up NifSkope, then I load the NIF I want to export. Then I unroll the tree so I see the "NiTriShape" list. I right-click on each of them and select ".OBJ > Export Mesh", and save all the pieces to a new folder. Then I open Max and import all the .obj parts, which usually are imported in the right place... so it looks a bit like I'm building with lego as I import each piece.
It doesn't work with NIFs that have baked-in textures. I've heard it can open NIFs exported with the Civ4 exporter, as long as textures aren't baked in, but I've yet to test that myself.
