Quest Idea - end times cult - Deeza - 02-09-2010

Do you remember that guy from Mournhold in TES3, dressed all in white and prophesying the end of the world? Looks like he's been vindicated now the gates to Oblivion have opened!

I think we should include a few quests based around this guy's followers, and their response to the Crisis.

Thoughts?

To be honest, all I can think of when I read about this is a Morag Tong Writ. Big Grin

Good Quest

A few things to consider

The End of Times Cult was limited to Mournhold, its not likely that word of their ideas got past the walls as all of them were found dead.

Possibly through letter from one member or another to a family outside of Mournhold could have been enough to convince a young person with a "big brother complex" to rebel and take on the Cults beliefs.

Enjoy

You're right. Probably this should be an offshoot of the one in Tribunal (perhaps the guy wrote a book about his beliefs that since got circulated a bit more widely?)

I think that would be a good angle to take it from

If a book was written then the chances of the cults beliefs being known outside of Mournhold has just increased, also under the current ssituation its more likely that some wanna be cultist will use this to try and gain popularity or even someone who is not necessarily a true believer migh use this to try to persued the easily influenced to take up the cause A scam of sorts...you know give up all your belongings etc etc because the end is near

Its a good idea and could make many small quest oportunities

I think you should build on it

I will certainly help

Enjoy

What about a herecy.Whose followers believe that another god was born from the blood of Anu who is much stonger than Daedra and Aedra. He rests in deep waters waiting to get enough supporters.
