Soulrest (inc. Corals) - Teatime in the Depths - Deeza - 03-15-2010

In Soulrest, a pretentious-looking Altmer is hanging around the UC district. Interestingly, he introduces himself as an Ayleid. On being asked for explanation, he claims that he's the direct descendent of refugees who fled Cyrodiil after the human rebellion. He's in Black Marsh trying to find a family heirloom.

Turns out that his great-grandfather lent his prized tea service to the Autarch (the guy who built Mannatyr), and the bastard never gave it back. It's presumably still down there, as it was enchanted to be almost indestructible, but he can't stand the thought of having to dive deep into the murky waters of the Marsh. If the player will do it for him, he'll happily pay.

So the player dives down into the (presumably shark-infested) ruins to find the lost tea service. The parts will use this resource:

This is a good opportunity for dropping in lots of lore, as the guy can talk about the relationship between the Ayleids and their wayward Marsh-dwelling cousins.

'Twould be good...I'd only include a couple of pieces of those items though. We looked at these before and thought they could be used in UC areas but not very often. The item in question might be unrecognisable to those in UC areas but would represent a 'genuine antique' as opposed to the replicas elsewhere.

This could potentially be very quick to implement. Mannatyr and the Garden of the Autarch are already made, so it would just be a question of adding the quest-giver and placing the items.

Agreed. :check:

Good. I'll sort out the quest template ASAP.
