Ebb07 - The Old Watchtower (Claimed, Finished)

Is there any rough guideline for the number of NPCs to include? So far I've done Mephasa Telano, who is a rich noblewoman passing through the town, perhaps on her way to Vvardenfell or some other city (Though I'm going to have to ask someone else to do clothing for her... it seems none of the elegant vest models are included in the public version, and ideally that's what she should wear), I plan to make a guard or two for her as well. I'm also making a cheery merchant called Arello Bantes, who travels Morrowind selling candy. (I've used the STIDDarkelfmoustache01dark race for him, is that ok?)

I'm going to do the innkeeper of course, but I was just wondering about how many you wanted.

I would limit the number of NPCs to about three. Ebbedin doesn't necessarily get a lot of visitors.

Personally, I don't think a rich noblewoman would stop in Ebbedin because it is not a very safe or attractive place. Maybe, just to give a suggestion, her escort decided to rob her en route to Steadhelm. Despite having injuries, she miraculously ended up finding her way to Ebbedin, where she sold her shoes and/or accessories to pay for the treatment of her injuries. She's stuck because she doesn't know the way to Steadhelm, is not capable of combat, and can't afford an escort or transport. Could be a seed for a quest. If you do this, she should probably have enough sense to keep her true story a secret unless she has a really high disposition. Wealthy nobles with even wealthier relatives or friends have a nasty tendency to be held for ransom. Wink

The merchant sounds interesting, but keep what I said above in mind. I was going to try to find a good alternative to using races to have beards since they raise some dialogue concerns, but you can use those races in the meantime. I'll make changes to the bearded NPCs if it becomes necessary. Make sure you add the StSr dialogue faction to the NPC's list of factions, and also to the list of conditions for the dialogue quest (should be an OR condition).

Due to a few RL issues, I havent been able to do any modding for the past few weeks, and it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to for quite a while yet (at least another month), sorry. I'll upload what I've done so far this evening, and I guess someone else will have to take over my claim. I'm very sorry, but there's not much I can do Sad

I've had a really busy last month too, so I know what you're talking about. Sad Is there any way I can convince you to wait and see how things turn out first though before dropping the claim?

Sorry for not uploading this sooner, completely forgot about it Blush

As for not dropping it... I may be able to continue sometime in the future, possibly, but there are no guarantees. So if ever I have time, I might drop by and do a bit more, but I doubt I'll be able to do everything that's left. I'm really sorry, but like I said, there isn't a lot I can do. Sad

Okay, that's fine. Smile Thanks for uploading it and letting us know what's going on. Looking at the interior, you probably used a few too many tables, but other than that it's a decent start. The interior looks very cozy. It's a shame, but... hey. Confusedhrug: Things happen.

Because I've got a lot going on, it'll probably be a bit before I get to finishing this claim. If you find time and want to make your original concept come alive, your claim might just still be here. Just so you know.

If not, best of luck to you. :goodjob:
