Mad World
This is a very beautiful song I heard, I thought that it's place would b here. Lyrics:
(Video)
(Gears of War adaptation)

All around me are familiar faces
Worn out places, worn out faces
Bright and early for their daily races
Going nowhere, going nowhere
And their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression, no expression
Hide my head I want to drown my sorrow
No tommorow, no tommorow

And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
'Cos I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very

Mad world, mad world

Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy Birthday, Happy Birthday
Made to feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen, sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me, no one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what's my lesson
Look right through me, look right through me

And I find it kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I'm dying
Are the best I've ever had
I find it hard to tell you
'Cos I find it hard to take
When people run in circles
It's a very, very

Mad world, mad world

It was originally composed by Tears For Fears, then remade by Gary Joules, which was featured in Donnie Darko. TFF was faster on the piano than Gary Joules, but GJ made more haunting when he made it slower. I recomend listening to it. Sorry if this is not the right place for it, but I thought it really fit in here.

It's not that I think the song is great. It's because I find it fits in here, rather than any other song. If it doesn't move/delte it.

Someone falls to pieces
sleepin all alone
someone kills the pain
spinning in the silence
to finally drift away
someone gets excited
in a chapel yard
catches a bouquet
another lays a dozen white roses on a grave

to be yourself is all that you can do
to be yourself is all that you can do

someone finds salvation in everyone
and another only fame
someone tries to hide themself
down inside their selfish brain
someone swears his true love
until the end of time
another runs away
separate or united?
healthy or insane?

to be yourself is all that you can do
to be yourself is all that you can do
to be yourself is all that you can do
to be yourself is all that you can do

you can be fading out
and pulled apart
or been in love
every single memory of
could have been faces of love
don't lose any sleep tonight
i'm sure everything will end up alright
you may win love

but to be yourself is all that you can do
to be yourself is all that you can do
"Why would I be bound by rules if I can see so far beyond them?"

the first minute of that song is used for the Gears of War trailer

Scott gives Gears of War: 2 thumbs: UP :goodjob: :goodjob:

RE: Mad World
That song was playing out of fast food places all over London's west end a few years ago - it's very sad - and the song that was released to follow was downright manic-depressive - they are very beautiful, but never let the b******** get you down
