Monks?

Well since Akavir is a japan themed mod I figured it'd make sense if there were buddhist monks roaming around. And say if you were ambushed by a bunch of monsters or whatever and there was a monk nearby, Could it be made to help you?


Another Situation say if there were a few monks chanting by a fountian and if you could give them some money then they would mention you to the hed monk, and then when you got there you could for say become a monk?.

Anyway just one of my weird ideas.

We will have "sohei" (Japanese warrior monks), and yes, you can join their faction :yes:

They can't be buddhists ofcourse, because it's not lore friendly, so we will have to come up with a new religion based on buddhism.

There might also be other buddhist monks, based on shaolin warrior monks... for Tang Mo maybe?

They are very powerfull, they use the same armor and weapons as samurai, and ofcourse they are strong fighters.
And they will have powerfull healing spells, so they are a lot like paladins... only better
