General Story Of The Cerro Clan
The Cerro

First Era

Chimer lead by Saint Veloth enter the land known as morrowind, they have reached the western side mountain ranges and make plans to camp for the night the area which they are in would later be called Kogo Tel, the next morning the clans awake and continue on with the journey, a small group lead by Golar Saren decided that the area was nice and they wanted to stay, with Veloth's blessing they remained.

By the end of the first month, the Saren group had build a town hall large enough to house their small group as they continued to build homes and prepare the ground so that they might plant crops
All was looking well for this small clan of chimer

On a particular evening a scream was heard that awoke all the members, everyone rushed to see what was going on, out of the hut they came only to see quickly moving shadows (like blurs) they were back and forth racing around, the clan members looked frantically to see what it was as another scream was heard, then suddenly they saw one of them (A Vampire) grabbing a clan member, the Vampire ran off with the limp body in hand blood pouring down onto the dry ground, the clan members ran in different directions trying to escape, to hide from these beasts some ran north into the hills and were never seen again others stayed behind to fight.

Those that remained numbered 22, every few days they were attacked until only 3 remained.... Golar, his brother Garis and their long time friend Arranche, their wife’s and children all dead, their friends all dead, they vowed no matter what, they would remain unto death to avenge their families

Golar and Garis

Many evenings had passed by, the vampires hunted at night but Golar the older of the 2 brothers had designed traps for them, in the mornings he and Garis with the help of Arranche would go out and build the traps, and then quickly gather food before the darkness came, they had dug a pit within the walls of their hut and huddled their in the evenings, taking turns keeping watch, one by one they fell, those vile creatures...each day Golar and Garis would check there traps and each day fortune would find the ash remains of a vampire who had fallen into the trap and was left to burn with the rising of the sun.

Arranche

Arranche was by all accounts the intelligent one; he studied the ways of magic and had a particular fondness for plants and potions. He had a green thumb some would say, anything he planted grew and grew in abundance, and he had grown up with Garis, since their mothers were caretakers of neighboring homes in the land of the Altmer. He was a pampered youth, because of his gift, but when he heard the words of the prophet Veloth he believed and journeyed with his kin

The Last Days

One particular morning after a night of calm, Golar awoke early, he went outside the hut to inspect the traps he had set, none had been activated, which is what he expected since it had been quiet that night. Garis soon wandered out and joined his brother, they took time to adjust the traps as necessary and gather food items along the way it appeared that maybe the vampires had given up and moved on to another location. Several days had passed with no activity, they were sure now that it was over and began re-building their huts, and they even jokingly talked about returning to Summerset to find new wives
Things seemed particularly calm on that day. Suddenly a cry for help was heard, it was Arranche back at his hut, and Golar ran as quickly as he could, Garis right behind him.... When they arrived several minutes later they found Arranche on the floor of his hut, blood oozing from his body in several places, he was breathing deeply and mumbling softly as his last breaths were being inhaled. Garis his long time friend knelt at his side, tears began to well up in his eye sockets, He held his friends hand tightly as his last breath was taken. As with the death of the rest of the clan, Golar and Garis mourned the lost of their friend and prepared a typical Chimer Burial Ritual, as they had grown accustomed to.

The Ritual

They wrapped Arranche's body carefully and placed him on the offering altar, with torch in hand Garis stood ready as his brother recited the dead song as he had done over and over since they arrived in this new land, They didn't blame the prophet, they knew he was being lead by the Divine, they could sense it in his words and see it in his face, this was the land for them, but a harsh land it was giving no quarter to the weak and having no mercy on the young or old. As the last words of the ritual were spoken Garis lit the logs causing a bright flash to begin to grow and grow... Suddenly in a flash the wrapped body jumped up screaming and wailing, Garis fell back hitting his head on the ground Golar with his mouth agape, frozen. Unable to move from the fear watched as Arranche clawed and ripped the cloth from his body, revealing his new vile and grotesque form, he leaped toward Golar grabbing him and biting him firmly in the neck, Golar fell to the ground gasping, just as he had seen his friend just yesterday.

The Recovery

Just as quickly as Arranche had revived and attacked, he fell into a momentary trance, Garis had awoken just then, seeing his brother on the ground with blood oozing from his neck he quickly grabbed some of the wrapping and covered his brothers wound, he looked at Arranche, lying next to him, seeing the blood coming from his mouth, Garis knew what had happened. Arranche began to awake and moved ever so slowly, Garis cursed him and commanded he stay away, but Arranche seemed calm, he told Garis he was all right and he could help his brother, quickly he regained his strength and ran into the bush when he returned shortly he had some herbs with him and told Garis to get water for the mixture. He mixed a healing potion and gave it to Golar, at first Golar went unconscious but awoke soon and took in a deep breath. As things began to calm down both Arranche and Golar realized their situation. With Arranches mixtures of healing herbs it did not take but a few days for Golar to be recovered from the wound

The Fight

Golar and Arranche knew what the had become, vile creatures they were, how long would it be before they needed to kill and who but Garis was the game, they had to keep Garis away from them, so they sent him off, with sadness Garis left, not to be seen again. As the days passed the 2 friends grew harder and more vile, Arranche continued to brew potions in hopes they would keep him from becoming a complete monster, he and Golar shared these potions but it was not working, little by little they became more violent until one evening they could not control their selves any longer and began to fight, they fought each other hard for several hours and when it became apparent they could not defeat each other they surrendered to their hardship and went out to hunt. In their frenzied state they searched all around for blood, and to this misfortune of Garis, they found him. It seems Garis did not venture far from the camp, he did not want to leave his long time friend nor his brother, and so he made camp just a mile or 2 away. When he saw the 2 of them approaching he was excited with joy until they got closer and he could see their eyes were yellow and red and their faces hideous to look upon, he could not move away quickly enough and they engulfed him, screams of pain filled the air as they mauled Garis to his death. Both Golar and Arranche fell into a sleep, when they awoke and saw what they had done, they cursed each other and then they cursed themselves. Arranche made a vow that day to find a cure and Golar also vowed to find the ones responsible and kill them.

Years Later

Over the course of several years Golar and Arranche had built up a small place of their own it is on the place, which Kogo Tel was built. Arranche continued to experiment with potions and herbs while Golar assisted, occasionally a traveler would pass by their area, which was unfortunate as they became food for the 2, when they needed to feed more and more people began to move into that area, it became apparent to them they would need to move underground and so they did, finding a small cave they made their home and began to go deeper and deeper into the land, as Kogo Tel grew, they took several as slaves to help built their cave and gather things for them, many, many years had passed and they had gone unnoticed by the citizens of Kogo Tel. It became obvious to Arranche that Golar would not be able to be saved if he continued on much longer, so he began constructing a tomb for him, one that would hold him safely until a cure was found, he did this secretly as he knew if Golar had found out he would resist. Several years later Arranche took Golar to this place, un aware of what it was Golar went and their he remains, as Arranche sealed the door he wept for his friend and vowed he would return with the cure

Some Errors Etc To Be Ironed Out But This Is The Main Idea.
