Are we still wanting a dwemer companion?
I was wondering if a dwemer companion is still wanted. i remeber not to long ago that Bob was on about a dwemer centurion as a companion that could be summoned when the player has the Jnaggo armor.

I am currently working on a new pet companion, its the smartest companion I have ever made, its turning out to be really good and worth having. I could implement the same script(modified) and create a new dwemer companion, if its still wanted that is.

RE: Are we still wanting a dwemer companion?
As a reward I thik it would be nice to have

Even if temporary

The ability to summon a centurian would be preferred

The centurian would stay with the player until destroyed

The centurian should be able to carry all the players belongings
yet those belongings should return to the players inventory upon loss of the centurian

Once gone, the player may then summon another, but should not be able to summon a centurian more than 1 time in any 24 hour period

to answer your question

Yes

Enjoy
Bob

Ok, well with some additional scripting:

*Allow only one at a time
*Ability to carry players items
*Return items upon death
*One summon per 24 hours

I can apply my ai scripting and what not form my dog to this, should turn out well. I will work on the script as soon as I lock down a better version of my current script.

If you want to take a look here is the script.

I can test it don't worry, I was just showing what I have wrote so far, most things are easy enough to understand whats going on. Well alteast you have an idea of the size of the script, so this should assure you he can do a lot.

Eh, to me it's Latin- that is to say, i understand the basics of it, and with a proper dictionary and some time could decipher the rest.

I'll test it out when i get a chance. I think that the companion should only be summonable when you have the FULL set of Jnaggo's armor, especially if it stays until death, and can act as a chest. The easiest way would be to have it as a lesser power, which you can only use once every 24 hours anyways.

I think that rather than have all of the items automatically go back to your inventory, it would be better if the Centurion turned into a chest on death, and you had to loot it to get all of your items back. This would also solve burden problems, as you wouldn't suddenly be 400 pounds overburdened when your centurion (carrying all your loot) dies in the middle of a fight.

As I have said, the script was for people just to nosey at, I will test it and what not.

Ok, three languages from you all. Maybe I should wirte in english Big Grin

Senisoh: I like the idea of that actually, once the companion dies you have a chest. Actually that would be easy to do, becuase all the items are stored in a chest in a dump cell, so it would be as easy as moving the dwemer centurion body and placing the chest there in its place.

Maybe a thread should be started so I can work on the development of this.
