BSA archive v2.20 is now the file to be in possession of as it includes all previous files along with their updates. Please PM me if you require the option of having the archive in 'folder format'.

Currently, there remains a discrepancy with the archive as there is a folder in the wrong place containing some of the Blackrose models along with a few others. Therefore, please delete the folder in Data>Meshes>blackmarsh>blackmarsh. There should be no second 'blackmarsh' folder. Instead, add these files to your data folder: http://www.humyo.com/FMVtRdg/BSAReshuffl...zc34GfvJvk .

All other updates will appear in the usual folder format until these, too are finalised and merged into the BSA. Download it here: http://www.humyo.com/FMVtRdg/BMData9.rar?a=ZRPP-inA35o .

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE OF BSA ARCHIVE

Open the file ConstructionSet.ini in a text editor, such as Notepad. The file is located in the folder My Documents\My Games\Oblivion.

Find the line that reads:
SArchiveList=Oblivion - Meshes.bsa, Oblivion - Textures - Compressed.bsa, Oblivion - Sounds.bsa, Oblivion - Voices1.bsa, Oblivion - Voices2.bsa, Oblivion - Misc.bsa

Change the line to:
SArchiveList=Oblivion - Meshes.bsa, BlackMarsh.bsa, Oblivion - Textures - Compressed.bsa, Oblivion - Sounds.bsa, Oblivion - Voices1.bsa, Oblivion - Voices2.bsa, Oblivion - Misc.bsa

Then open the file Oblivion.ini in the same manner. The file is also located in the folder My Documents\My Games\Oblivion. Don't confuse it with Oblivion_default.ini located in your C:\Program Files\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion folder! That one should remain unchanged. Make the same change to Oblivion.ini as above.

This thread will be the source for all future bsa updates as mediated through myself or another core member. Only post here if you are posting up a resource for the bsa archive to merge with our current list of assets.

IMPORTANT NOTICE - Please only use the latest bsa archive with the latest esm file. I will date these so that you know which ones to use with which. Just copy over the previous versions. Also, try to get your items sent in in time for the next update if you wish them to be used promptly (every fortnight or so). Finally, take note that the archive at the moment is temporarily a .rar file and not a bsa file as stated in the title. This will change later.

  • Korthian, Kazhan and other weapons.
  • Signs for Stonewall, Seafalls and Chasepoint.
  • Jungle rocks from Sachiel, mr_siika and UL: Colovian Highlands.
  • Various modders resources such as market models, Razorwing's Agora, mr_siika's fisherboat, a couple of bows, a palmtree, backpacks and potions.
  • The mudslaughterfish.
  • Clutter such as Jewelry, cupboards, bowls, crates, a barrel, cooking pot and feeding stall.
  • Clothes such as warmagerobes, shirts and robes.
  • Armours such as tarnished steel, Marsh Cuirass, mage robes, hoods, Dwarf armour and full deerskin set.
  • Architecture for Tenmar Wall, Seafalls, Stonewastes, Soulrest, Rockguard, Rockgrove, Moonmarch, Chasepoint, dock areas, mossy ruins and various Argonian huts.

  • Dangerous Flora: the Exploding Seedpod (Koniption).
  • Stinking Rafflesia Flora (besides plenty more flora from Koniption).
  • Blue Syvlan Mushrooms (Senten).

  • Slaughterfish fishing equipment for the huts (Koniption).
  • Newly updated Turtle Shell houses and Watertop Housing Set (Koniption).

  • A much more complete Mossy Ruin tileset, both interior and exterior (IG).

I also re-arranged some of the files as you will see in the next esm update. Please bear in mind that many of the assets now appear in their proper places such as, for example, the flora under the 'Flora' category in the CS as opposed to the static-Flora category.

Some items such as Koniption's gourds are still waiting to be prepared for use. Also, the creatures update mentioned earlier has had to be postponed for now until the region generation is dealt with.

  • Hist Dimension items – various re-textures (Ibsen’s Ghost), toadstools (from ‘Aezarka’ mod items), spiraling roots, Hist Key & Histflowers (Koniption).

So that you can see the Imperial towers of Rockguard in the next esm, please download the attached file and delete the file in the Data/meshes/Blackmarsh/architecture folder called icwalltower01.

Black Marsh Huts texture/normal map fix

just extract and replace the current files (don't delete all the old files as not all of them are redone Wink)

This fixes the shinyness of a lot of the textures used in the bmhuts set.

Another very important note:

Currently the chieftain's hut can cause some glitches when HDR is enabled. I have tried altering the textures and normal maps and have literally no idea how to fix it. It is not a persistent glitch (somtimes its there, sometimes not), but it can be quite annoying. So far the only thing appraching a fix I have found is to quit and disable HDR and then re-enable it later.

EDIT: download below contains fixed .nif file to replace old chieftainhut2 and thatchroof tex to be copied to appropriate textures directory. This appears to fix the chieftainhut problem in my tests so far Smile
