RE: Building a gaming computer
Hi xchaosdragon666x;

Well, that CPU and Motherboard are fine, they will do well, just about anything called i7 will.
The video card, no. i would not get that, plus it might actually not run OB. I would go for any ATI X4x00 series, they came out after Oblivion and are good. Like really good. RAM, is good but 8GB is optimum, but six is also very good and will run OB with zilch lag.
Your HDD, (put it as HDD, as i thought you were talking about the screen for a moment, then remembered it was a desktop. It is truly, Hard Disk Drive) is it in two separate ones, if not, get one that is. it is best to get one with two 500gb as I think OB won't install, as the game says, whoa! This can't be possible, something's wrong. That's my experience with friends and other gamers.
Everything else, fine.
So the graphics card, and the HDD I would look into more. Google them and add at the end, for Oblivion, videos and others will come up threads, just find one.

Hope I am not embarrassing myself with ill knowledge or what not.
Hope it helps;

PWN

And it simply says the date I registered.

RE: Building a gaming computer
Sorry - but take a look at the bottom in the left hand panel of every post on the site, you will see the date it was posted. Right now it will say "today" to the left of this post - after today it will say 30.07.2011.

In that position in xchaosdragon666x's post you will see he made that post on 10.09.2009 - nearly two years ago.

It's a bit of a stale thread.

Hi

That's really weird. Take a look at the screenshot I've attached. What do you see in the actual board at the position I've circled in red (bottom of the pic)? Is that date missing when you look at the actual site?

Cheers
