Quest Tracker thread

Following the example set by TOYB over at Elseweyr, this will be a thread that summarises all the quests we need so far. This is intended as a guideline, nothing more - we may change the numbers and locations of quests as necessary. I'd be grateful if Ibsen could pin it for me:

Main Quest

10-16 quests long. Will involve travelling into the deepest areas of the Marsh to uncover long-lost secrets. It is said that some of the long-lost Children of the Hist are returning. Factions involved will include the An-Xileel, Royal Court and the Hist.

Factions

Stock Factions:

Fighter's Guild
Currently does not exist, following the revocation of its Charter many years ago. The player gets the chance to rebuild it - with every contract you complete, you get more facilities, eventually buying Guildhalls in Stormhold, Gideon, Soulrest and Lilmoth.

Mage's Guild
Research facilities located in Stormhold, Gideon and Soulrest. 4-5 Linked Misc Quests offered if the player is a member of the Cyrodiilic MG.

New Factions:

Sotha Tren
Replacement for the Thieves' Guild. A native Argonian cartel specialising in smuggling, led by the mythical Sotho.

Shadowscales
Replacement for the Dark Brotherhood. Cannot be joined (it's argonians-only), but will offer several misc quests (4-5) to members of the Cyrodiilic DB. Also involved in several other quests.

Royal Court/Khanaten Liberation Army

6-9 Quests Long, involves the efforts of the Royal Court to stamp out revolutionaries who oppose their rule. Player has the option of picking either side.

@ Deeza, does this thread need updating? If we could have a quick appraisal of what's on offer then maybe I can start polishing some of these up and issuing them as quest claims....thanks! :goodjob:

Sure, I'm kind of busy right now (yeah, I know it's a weekend, sometimes my job works out that way), but when I have time I will certainly check through the quest forum and adjust this list accordingly.

I thought I'd just make a quick point here that I would like us to have scripts ready for quest modders ASAP so that we can kickstart the quest modding with a vengeance. I am hoping to add some very shortly which will form the template for the sort of quest script that we need. After that, if our writers such as Deeza and Shanasha would care to contribute then I'm sure it would help to give our modders plenty of choice. :yes:

Hopefully, we can begin getting all of our actioned quests into play like this for the likes of AliTheLord, AndalayBay and so on to work on...
