Custom Grass
Hey, is there anyone, who can tell how to make a custom grass? I took an overview on the grass nifs placed in the data\meshes\plants directory. I can import them to blender, or Nifscope, but don't know how to properly export them. The model is very simple - its just a couple of rectangles placed at different angles, so it should be easy to export it from blender and assign to some land texture. The problem is that grass models exported from blender, or retextured in NifScope don't appear in game.

Everything I've read says to retex the existing grass meshes. You can do pretty much anything you need with them. Retexing is pretty easy: just the usual reference change in Nifskope. The textures can be a bit tricky: they don't seem to show in-game as you'd expect, and I think the background colour of the transparent areas can be particularly important.
Not much to go on, I know, but all I've done is recolour existing dds files.

i did some changes to the grass object properties (density, position range etc.) and now it appears. Strange ?(
