Custom texture notshowig properly in inventory
Hello there, I have this little problem I can't solve. I created completely new shield model, used new texture (base on Warhammer Online concept art). The shield works in game, texture is visible but when I enter inventory my character model doesn't show the shield properly. It's like transparent black. Screenshots:

Sorry for the late reply.

I'm not sure what is going on, tbh.

Did you make a normal map texture for your shield also? That *might* be the problem, maybe.

I did, I did but something wasn't right with it, so I started all over from the beginning. After I remade textures everything went solid black, even in game. The shield was visible in the inventory, It was solid but still pitch black. I' will leave it for now. Got some other stuff to do so my modding must wait. Thanks for reply anyway.

My guess is that its a issue with the normals. You can try the Mesh> Flip Normals and Face Normals buttons in nifskope, they usually sort out these sorts of issues for me.

Problem solved. It turned out that textures were correct. The problem was that they weren't saving properly as DDS format in The Compressonator when pressing "save compressed". So I reopened them againg in The Compressonator and saved original and here we go - completely working shield texture with normal map and alpha channel. Thank you all for your support guys.
