The armour still reminds me of Oblivion's glass somehow. hrug:
I could post an alternative, if anybody cares...
- Captain - 08-21-2006
Kyoushu: I would care a lot, but in a good way. It's always better to have alternatives, and anyways, we could always use one or the other idea for saphire armor.

Sorry if I sounded like the bad guy for a sec. It's just I think if the culture of the Khajiit is subtlely based of Egypt and the Near East/Middle East, it should reflect it in some way. The examples you and Green @nt1-n00b have shown looks more Man-ish in design/western European approach of armour, but again that's just my opinion.
I go away on vacation for the weekend and find the sky is falling...

Heh, you never sounded like the "bad guy" to me.
And I see your point. When I finished the ruby helm, my first thought was that "it looked a bit too Imperial", however, I do like the flowing look of it.

Not a bad concept, but.. I think it kind of clashes with the spikey pauldrons.
Maybe.. it could work for sapphire armor (which would be more rounded, like the glass in Oblivion, but different, since I don't really like that, and my opinion is really important), and the ruby could be more jagged, like the glass armor from Morrowind.
If people were up to modeling a different armor for every gem.

Oh Oh Ideasys :idea2:
Saphire = light armor(like in oblvions glass)
Ruby = Heavy armor(like in morrowinds Glass)
- Green @nt1-n00b - 08-21-2006
Look at these concept I did for the Saphire Helm Curiss and paudrons

Er, Morrowind's glass armor was light... Maybe I'm misunderstanding you though.

And at that, ruby and sapphire are pretty similar materials...
G@n: I like the looks of that.
- Green @nt1-n00b - 08-21-2006
