That was the impression I was under when upekkha was still in charge, I have since then been corrected by people, and since I had no evidence I conceded the point.

I guess I'd overlooked that quote.
*sigh* Dragon Breaks for everything these days. It's not even original anymore.

This one isn't even covering anything up though, its just remaning consistant with their other lore.
- Hrafnkel - 09-05-2006
Yeah. I just don't see what about constructing it would cause a Dragon Break. Typically they happen when a tower is shattered, or somesuch. For whatever reason though, it didn't seem to at Red Mountain.

Its when a god walks the earth I believe. The land gods caused dragon bends I think.
- Hrafnkel - 09-05-2006
Ah, right. Forgot about that aspect of the Marukhati's little dance.

Quote:So what's your source for that Dragon Break?
When they used Zurin's lifeforce, Tiber was reinacting the death of Lorkhan at the hand of Auriel, which was a form of 'Mythopoeism', then you have the duality of Zurin and Tiber being 'Enantiomorphs', like the duality of of Lorkhan and Auriel.
mythopoeic [mith-uh-pee-ik]- of or pertaining to the making of myths; causing, producing, or giving rise to myths.
So basically in short Tiber Septim used the tower, Numidium, to rewrite him self into myth/ history at the expense of Zurin Arctus.
I think that's how Prowler might have summed it up on one of his ESF Lore rants, regarding MK's new lore and retcons.
- Hrafnkel - 09-05-2006
Ah... Right. I really have to stop forgetting about the whole enantiomorph thing.

I think the poison glow rocks are radioactive. Of course, no one on Nirn knows anything about radiation, but it's just too obvious a similarity to ignore.

That's pretty much it, very good. I was going to say something similar, but I would not have said it as well.

Im not going with radioactivity, because nothing points to that. This is nirn.
