dunno, but a good topic for disscusion...
well the dres plantations of the south would be located in marshy type areas i believe, so the architeture would have to be adapted accordingly... hmm i'm going over to TM to see what i can see...

stilt homes? homes built on mounds of earth?
- Arbiter - 01-27-2006
Shouldn't their dwellings be amazing since they're wealthy slave lords?
We have a comparison in book Myst. Houses there had thick walls through which slaves moved of out of their masters sight.

who said stilt homes and mound-dwellings can't be amazing?!?!
I wasn't done yet! still working on a concept art...
just chill ...relax.... chillax....

Sure they can. But I thought that they counted wealth in size.
- KuKulzA - 01-28-2006
well, the majority would... not necessarily the urban living ones... but there are only a few cities...
but stilt buildings and mound-dwellings can be quite elaborate...

besides, just becuase a culture is wealthy as a whole doesn't mean that every member of said culture is wealthy lap:

They won't send poor suckers of the House to represent them in Vvardefell.

I think there willl be a small clan of House Dres that will move to be allowed to settle on Vvardenfell... say if they aren't doing well on the mainland their plantations are doing bad... slaves disobedient, land overused... so they move...
they will include laborers to build stuff, etc, slaves, and the noble(s)... and warrior of the household
