Same here, but I want the armor legitimately, and I want to have an Ordinator conspiracy of some sort. Those just can't happen if we go with the Armigers, unless we just have ex-Ordinators pawning off their armor, but that's really not all that believable or cool in my book.
they can sing and kill at the same time... but they aren't heavy or anything, they are adventurous
Ordinators are keeping Temple together, got armor, can be assholish to commoners, and are damn tough
Ordinators may make a deeper gameplay, but deep down inside, I am still Buoyant Armiger!

well, I have an idea for Buoyant Armigers.... it might ease my soul a bit...
what if you could hire one for a low price to be your bodyguard. Surely if you need a body guard you are on an adventure, something a Buoyant Armiger is gonna want... you can hire from several ranks*... one armored in chitin, another in dreugh, and another in glass?
that way, you can be a hotshot, and a Temple asshole! ...well, you can have a hotshot with you.... I remember the 1st aldruhn fighter guild quest with the Buoyant Armiger at Vas... gave me good memories... and the first time my character got cursed... down to like 30 strength!
*we could shorten the ranks if they are not joinable, no point in making huge lists

I like the idea, but I wouldn't think that you could just up and hire an Armiger. If you had a certain rank in the Temple maybe. If you went with my Temple quest thing, perhaps that would be a reason for the additional rank from the successful negotiation mission at Suran. Do it right, you get the rank, and can get an Armiger. Fail, and the option isn't available.

well in the Imperial Legion TES3 quests, the Armigers challenged the Legion to a lot of quests and competitions....
maybe to even up on the friendly-competition, Ordinators challenge the Buoyant Armigers to w/e
and should you unlock the quest, the reward is that the Buoyant Armigers are willing to send an Armiger to assist...?
of course it will involve a good trick since the Armigers caught a lame corprus and skinned it...
so the Legion had to get an animiculi and take off its scrap metal to be even...
EDIT: still... Ordinators are virtually non-Dunmer... never heard of a non-Dunmer Ordinator... but there are non-Dunmer Buoyant Armigers

but this isn't about Vivec really, it is about which faction would be better for to keep to have players play....
personally I like Armigers more but thats me...
anyhow I await more votes from more people... hope to get at least like 15... a better sample size...

As the tribunal temple colapsed and afaik the ordinators were a temple institution, i see no reason for their further existance.
Making me vote for the armigers, as there could still be a group admiring the ways of Vivec.

you under-estimate the Temple...
but this is very old thread.... it is now decided that when everything is done, a second MQ will be made about the last days of the Tribunal Temple and yet another 6th House uprising... where if you side with Vivec (who you must rescue) you can join him as a crusader, an armiger, or ordinator...
or
join House Dagoth
either way, Temple takes on a new face, 6th House is once again underground (but has a tigher hold on Vvardenfell if you help them) and life goes on... a bit differently....

you will notice a correlation... most Armigers are Redoran.... Redoran are tough, pious, guardians of Morrowind, but joyous sometimes... kinda like Vivec, hidden guardian of Vvardenfell, jous poet-warrior....
Ordinators are mostly Indoril, pompous, snobby, powerful, numerous... Almalexia... is proud, snobby, refined and beautiful, and such a biatch.... like the Ordinators...
I dunno, Vivec, though born an Indoril (or related to Indoril) kinda side more with Redoran, Indoril kinda feel more for Almalexia.... I am guessing before his reclusion, the Dres affiliated with Sotha Sil.... only cause after Ald Sotha was destroyed and rebuilt into a shrien by Mehrunes Dagon, he moved south into a city of Sotha Sil.... however, it seems that all the people in the city are gone since no one knows where it is anymore... and Sotha Sil locks himself away in his inner sanctum, his clockwork city.... his workshop...
i have a feeling Sotha Sil the city is partially underwater
