Option to start you're character in Vvardenfell - X23 - 03-18-2006
Are you going to include an option to spawn in Vvardenfell? There were mods that changed where you spawned in Morrowind so it won't be too hard. It wouldn't be something really needed, so maybe in a later release.
For the Oblivion Main quest, just include the thing you get from the Uriel Septim in you're inventory, or the box in the Census office where Fargoths ring is.

From what I've heard there aren't plans to start in Vvardenfell, but I could be wrong. I did propose however that the Vvardenfell mainquest starts just like the Morrowind one did, you get off a ship to the Census and Excise office.

We're not going to mess around with the original game.

To bring back the good time memories from MW? That's kinda cool. I'd be leaning more towards a census and excise office (exact copy) in the town that's nearest to the Ancient Gate if the gate is where most players will enter MW from Cyrodiil. Different staff but same building down to the forks and knives on the table.
:lmao:
No better way to welcome a player back home again than to murder them with deja vu. And just for laughs have a picture of that census and excise officer's picture from Vvardenfell on the wall with "Employee of the Month" written underneath it.
edit: hm, i just realized this is the Vvardenfell section of the forum. heh, i need some coffee to wakeup.

except when they enter they hear the sqeaky voice of Ergalla...
"ahh yess, we have been expecting you.... now you'll have to be recorded before you..."
"AHHH SHUT UP!" *kills Ergalla**lands in maximum security jail*

Oh, but he's already dying in the Census and Excise quests after being caught up in some sex scandal, the dirty old lecher. If only my Nereverine were alive to see it; I somehow doubt that he's really run off to Akavir, more likely the controversial fellow was finally knocked off by someone or another.

yeah probably, if my Ordinator PC was there, that guy would've gotten the beating of his life... stupid old man....

Your such a violent Avatar Pimp, anyway for some very strange reason i just thought of an idea... why not have hirable hitmen?
I guess it was something from Vrenir's post that triggered the idea. hrug:

Hireable hitmen could be cool, but then again you lose the joy of throttling that certain NPC that just mad you wand to go CRAZY! Then again it would be sweet to hire a hitman, then while the guards chase him for his crime you're left totally unwatched... There should be some quest in Seyda Neen about a sex scandal between Ergalla and Fargoth, and then one or the other got knocked off.

I don't think that we're going to get Sodomy involved here. I don't want to have to stick a big, fat warning label on our mod. Anyway, I like the hitmen idea, but I don't know how you could possibly script it. I mean, you can have the guys hireable, but how in the world do you select the target? Is there a list of choices, because I doubt that we can single out any NPC in the game. Perhaps just a select target for a specific quest you can hire a hit man.
