[EDIT: after seeing so many different concepts of chitin I believe I should open this up to more then just "chitin" armor. This will include the Nix-hide chitin, the Shalk chitin, and the chitin, thanks.]
technically, Nix-hide and Shalk IS chitin... (technically so is Indoril, however Indoril is so refined and different that that will be done later.)

I am thinking that we can also make an Armiger cuirass and Helm... this will be based on the old TES3 chitin armor except made to look stronger. The old armor did not look as chitin/carapace-like as it should've and was worn mostly by Buoyant Armigers. So perhaps we can do something similar to Ordinators for the Armigers so that they has yellow-white chitin armor but refined to a point where it is layered laminated shells, not home-made chitin shells glued together... seeing as how netch a chitin are home-made types, I would think they would have that sort of look... taken right off the beast
the Armiger-style chitin should also have designs and such on their armor to set them apart... however Armigers are not bound to certain armor like Ordinators are, they choose what armors they want to wear

about the whole idea of chitin swords, instead of having a simple blade thats sharp, its can be a gathering of spikes, not horns, but spikes, sorta like a sharks teeth, but instead it would look a bit cleaner, wait let me make a quick concept.
