Renrijra Krin Faction Discuss - Krisi-_ - 08-10-2006
The Renrijra Krin is as most people here know a group of rebels, not the best word to use I know, who fight to retake the land taken from them in a treaty with County Leyawiin and trough Leyawiin the Empire. This treaty is just about 20 years old. Give or take..
Now its unknown if the Renrijra Krin has been fighting the Empire all this time, but it is know they just recently have grown strong.
Other than this it should be known that even trough their main objective is Leyawiin the Renrijra Krin will accept revenge as enough. The Renrijra allow anyone to join but will not blindly trust anyone.
If not wishing to write the whole name of Renrijra Krin; Renrij would be correct to use not Krin nor Renrijra.
Feel free to give any idea that comes to mind. Restrictions of the Faction is in the next post. Not including the current quest limit on 10-17 quests.

The faction MUST remain within elsweyr or new world spaces, we will not edit leyawiin or the surrounding area.
The faction SHOULD be original and make me feel patriotic, I want a few speaches.
The faction should NOT be blindly killing or pillaging, these guys know what they are doing, and they are patient.

all correct! Speeches? hmm... most Khajiits talk a bit about themself in 3rd person. They are very very patient.. a bit to patient to me
but well there quest should see planed out.. kinda if you set them together you a kind of attack pattern. Also plans how to hide from the legion.. (respond to DA)

I didn?t know an outlander could join one of those.
Although sounds like lots of fun...
Should probably research insurgencies and rebellions.
History is the best model for fantasy.
So perhaps there will be something to fit the story.

Attack patterns are impossible with melee because of combat AI, you can burden archers into one spot though.
I think the renrijra krin could be nice in the alpha, a few quests, what would their base be like?

I think their direct counter faction should be the Imperial Legion.
They want to remove Imperial influence, and try to set the seeds of revolution in Rimmen, while assassinating high-classed figures in a tour of Elsweyr.
Here's an idea I had for a quest:

I've been handed a few bottles of Skooma. [RK Commander] has ordered me to infiltrate [Imperial Legion Barracks] and find their food stocks. If I sprinkle just enough of Skooma on the food, the guards will be delinquint in their duties, and hopefully give us an oppurtunity to wreak some havoc.[/blockquote]
Perhaps the PC can wear an Imperial Legion uniform in disguise for initial infiltration, then when he gets into forbidden areas needs to start sneaking around, or you can sneak in right away, or maybe you can hide in a crate when the food is about to be shipped. I like it when there are multiple ways to complete quests.

Well I once planned a mod that had a rebelion in it, completely abandoned it though. One of my favorite things was a moment where they stole a shipment of armor, repainted it in their own armors, declared the player their champion who would lead them into battle, killing the imperial dogs with their own tools.

and when saying attack pattern I meant in the plot-line. and with my Entering Quest Idea I mean having the Krin heard of the some talk(from spys? ) about the quest you get from the EC member

Or how about the skooma used to drug they?re drinks and skooma bottles are planted around the fort or garrison to start a scandal that gets that company/legion reassigned out of Elsweyr.
That?s the sort of thing a careful insurgent organization would do. Attacking the legion head on is reckless. Subtle a Khajiit should be. Giving no evidence of his of her actions or intentions.
