Request for voice work - Razorwing - 06-30-2005
I'd like to make a request for some voice work. Wav would be good, MP3 would be even better. If you're unsure if your audio file is compatible you could check any of Bethesda's voice files. They're in "Morrowind\Data Files\Sound\Vo\", but basically, any Wav or MP3 will work with the game. Your work doesn't have to follow the script exactly, but needs to incorporate the jist of it.
The cool thing about voice work, apart from enhancing our current mod, is that it's one kind of resource that can be carried over easily to the Oblivion mod. After the work has been added I'll upload a public version of the WIP for playtesting.

So.
[one second pause]
I understand you are looking for a way of getting to the mainland, and you will be glad to know the Maria Daria can accomodate you on our imminent voyage.
[next part said in an explanatory fashion]
Travelling with this boat of ours is done much in the same way as you would travel with any other transportation, so I await your initiative.

It should be a male voice, preferrably using a British accent and sounding stern but friendly. It would be perfect for one of the main NPCs I'm using in my current mod project for Silgrad Tower. While the NPC isn't in the screenshots below, I thought they were nice ones that captures some of the moments a player would experience. Input is appreciated
Oh, and if you would like to voice the dialogue in the last screenie that'd be really cool too, and would streamline the playing experience.
I could also really use a smooth, sexy female voice clip for an... err... entertainer Anything a "dancing girl" might say would fit perfectly.

I don't think my Dunmer-ish voice would fit here, otherwise I'd help out. Sorry!
I can only sound like some de-ranged Dunmer kid...

I only could provide a male voice with a strong german accent.
(According to the people i met a few years ago on the European Gen Con in England. That means except the barman... he thougt i would be from France.)

If you could lean on the French influence on the accent then that'd be great, as the character is a Breton, though British would work too. Thanks for volounteering, looking forward to hearing it!

I'll try something later on ... I can do a few accents. There should be a thread in the old forum with five or six various voices I did.

Cool, thanks! Looking forward to it! I love to play with voices too, but don't have a mike. Will get one as part of my upgrade for Oblivion though, as voice work will be so much easier for it.
Unfortunately everything uploaded as attachments on the forum prior to the summer of 2004 is permanently and irrevocably deleted from the server.
