Lights and Docks - Ibsen's Ghost - 01-06-2009
I just noticed the sudden sharp rise of a mod called 'The ImpeREAL City' and felt that we might benefit from a few things...if we felt there was a genuine place for them, that is! SilentResident's real talent appears to lie with lighting effects. This includes street lighting, moonlight and various others. Of particular interest was this shot of the Temple of the Dragonfires: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/images/19589-1-1223042938.jpg and this one of what appears to be a new docks model: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/images/19589-1-1223403250.jpg .
I was considering these dirty waterfront district houses for Tenmar Wall's cave village because I needed some small dwellings of a Bravil-like nature: http://www.tesnexus.com/downloads/images/19589-3-1221555475.jpg but I may just stick with Bravil stuff instead...your opinions, folks?

For Tenmar wall I was using the Bruma stuff, if you want I could add some Bravil stuff into the set as well. Saves using someone elses work.

Ok, so you want the Bravil Stuff done. Will need to re-do the tileset. Do you want some extra pieces done for the cave village?

Oooh, yes please! I think I mentioned elsewhere that I'm looking for a model that is similar to one of the actual Bravil pieces. It's a trapdoor that leads up from below. The problem is that the piece itself (BravilDenFloor01 - ID# 0200113D) is not a full square so it looks like there is a piece of the house missing (see screenshot).
Other things would be 'Bravil building blocks' like the rectangular platforms that you see on the front of some buildings. You can see two of them in the other screenshots. One is a thick one (a huge wooden block basically) and the other is an actual platform with supports (except I'd prefer not to have the vertical supports, just the horizontal ones).
I'll probably string some roots and vines from the roof but I also wouldn't mind something like a little sentry outpost made of wood for the outside entrance....or some kind of clever concealment leading to the entry door...I dunno.
@ nick_op - No, I don't think there was anything new come to think of it. I may download the mod and investigate how the effect is achieved.
