New Interiors - Ibsen's Ghost - 12-14-2009
Here's a quick glimpse at the new interiors I'm adding for the settlements of Chasepoint (first one), Gideon and Rock Grove(last three). Some of these, such as Chasepoint, have been available for quite a while now but they're now receiving the mini-claim treatment as I work through the city planning claims.
I'm hoping to finish off the Tenmar Wall and Stormhold interiors and city-plan Hixinoag. Then I'll create proper interiors claims.
Oh, and the reason why they're so dark and I'm using a torch is because I misjudged the interior lighting.

Yeah, I like that somehow, the chaotic appearance of it (kind of like when you try to ram in the wrong shaped jigsaw piece but it doesn't fit, but somehow you think that if it did, it would look good) fits together to make, what seemed at first to me a quite ugly town, look fantastic.

Yay, cool! Deeza will be pleased. That was always the intention with Stormhold from the days when TheGreyWizard began the claim way back when. I think it may be in the lore somewhere that Stormhold was built up around Barsaebic ruins. The last time I spoke to Deeza about this, he mentioned the fact that the Castle interior should be absolutely bizarre in this sense...with all sorts of merges between Barsaebic and newer stone. I think the original Castle interior is still in the CS but Deeza wanted to revise it in a big way.

I thought you may be interested in seeing a bit of work I've done on the Hole-in-the-Wall bar in Stormhold. It's basically a fist-fighting pit below ground with a bar and lots of spectator seats around the auditorium. The idea is you can sit down, have a chat and watch people beat the living shit out of each other... :goodjob:
It's not properly cluttered but you can see the basic shape.
I'm hoping to finish off setting up the other Stormhold interior claims (including other claims elsewhere and the city planning for various other settlements) by the weekend.
